My hobby has always been photography and I recently started studying about video editing... so much so that I created my youtube channel to post my edited videos and see my evolution in editing in the future. I started watching some of your videos and to learn some editing techniques and get some references to my vision in the videos I will create. It's still very difficult, but the motivation is only increasing and some things I can edit without getting confused. This new hobby has been very good. Congratulations on your channel and your videos... I wish you much more success!
@@lilafromyoutube I’ve learned a lot from your channel, when I edit I often throw on one of yours peters or mattis videos and take the tips you guys teach, so thank you for that
@@lilafromyoutube As I have a gaming channel... you may check it for a second... I want some glitch text effects for my videos and I have no experience with Adobe premiere pro but I love to use it for basic edits.
@@lilafromyoutube I might! The blur in and out is a nice touch to the moving text. Right now I'm working on a parody of the Loki title with the changing fonts.
Haha happy to make your life as a creative a bit easier one video at the time 😂 I would love to visit norway some day! I was thinking of tromsø. Any recommendations?
@@lilafromyoutube Dont come! LOL. It is expencive... But lets play a game: what would you like to experince? Big city life is a no go since we dont have that.
wow this is weird... I literally came onto RUclips to find how to make a cinematic title for my video and this was the first recommendation without me even searching! Thanks for the vid, I'll use it in my next one coming out today. :)
Hi Lila, how can you combine both text layers together to be able to export 1 motion graphics template? or do they have to seperate? Thanks for the video.
Thank you for this! I tried doing this before and I love that you went starlight to the point with this tutorial! And I thought I was the only one using Google translate to pronounce things 😅 ! I've been saying bezeer. Lol
So i guess I am not the only one who cant pronounce bezier properly. Love your vids keep it up. Aaaand please can you make a vid about color isolation effect. I tried it but the results I am getting aren't what I want.
Yes! I actually use the HSL tool in these two videos (which you can apply to colour isolation): ruclips.net/video/EnGgZLlTU2g/видео.html And 2: ruclips.net/video/lM9TrptjkaU/видео.html
@@lilafromyoutube On Forvo (pronunciation website), a British guy goes with the more original "French" pronunciation (which is what my instinct said too), so you were right when you said "bezz-ee-AY". I think some words in English are kind of so "obviously" French, with no change to spelling or anything, that we've decided that they more or less keep their original pronunciation, like "Grand prix".
@@lilafromyoutube haha, thanks. Will need to do more. Transitioning from Vegas to Premier so that it is easier to work with editors I hire, but looking at some of these things, seems like a lot easier to do them in Vegas than Premier. Are you familiar with Vegas? Or have a video on the biggest changes in Premier versus others? For instance to create a crossfade, you can just overlap the two clips... can you do that in premier or have to mess with those proportions?
I used vegas for a little while over 10 years ago so I surely hope it improved 😅 a crossfade is super easy in premiere pro. Either right click on the edge and click on “apply default transition”, or use the shortcut CTRL+D. :) if you want to apply any other transition, go to effects > video transitions.
Perfectly timing, as I've just been asked to create a Christmas video message for a client, and these effects will add a little pizzazz to the production.
@@lilafromyoutube Spellcheck hadn't a clue what PIZAZZ was either. As I typed it out I wondered whether it was a made-up word that theatre directors used just to get their cast ready for a performance.
I guess I'll leave my comment again, maybe RUclips auto deleted it for some reason. In short, I gave you a compliment for doing a great job creating this video, then asked if you use any other software other than premier. Have you ever used Di Vinchi Resolve?
@@lilafromyoutubeI would invite you to check out Da Vinchi Resolve if you haven't already. It's free and it's just as robust as premier in terms of capabilities and features. I found the UI much easier to work with and there isn't much of a learning curve. Features like After Effects are built in so you don't have to bounce between two softwares like Adobe. I figured if you hadn't heard about it and since it's free, you might want to at least check it out, you might like it. 😁 Also, if you're looking for a photo editor that's just as good as Photoshop and only pay a one time fee with life time software updates without having to pay yearly 'pay to play' fees with Adobe, check out Affinity Photo. I hear a lot of professions are switching away from Adobe to these software alternatives. If you already know of these and don't care then you can disregard this reply. 🙂 Just wanted to share. Keep up the great work.
Pro Tip™: You can combine both text layers (and all the animations) into one Graphics layer. Then you can do this: Right click the Graphics layer and select "Export as Motion Graphics Template...". Now you have a reusable cinematic title MOGRT 💥 KA-POW!
