This game looks like a combination of Mario Cart and NASCAR Rumble in a mobile game that they pushed out to PC for some reason.
And the speed of F-Zero AGX. Without the Power Meter. And no Capt. Falcon. So that sounds like a bad sign. Fun. But still less polish than others.

The visual issue looks exactly like what you get when the game detects a HDR capable display and auto uses its HDR color mode even if the display is running in its SDR mode.Washed out dim visuals is essentially the trademark of HDR content in an SDR colorspace.
Exactly what I was thinking. The keyboard shortcut WIN + ALT + B should help diagnose this.
yeah, luckily crew motorfest a game that came out the same week has an option to switch hdr off for a more colorful image, I know cause I accidentally had hdr on and it looked exactly like this

In 2023 when a streamer says a game is "bad", it just means it not GOTY material. I can see with my own eyes that this is not a bad game, technical issues aside because all modern games have that on release. Then again, not a NASCAR fan or follower of that niche. Just a gamer who likes arcade racing, and it's tiresome when all the knee-jerk reactions to every new game these days is that it's bad. I think it's a shame that nobody knows this game is out, aside from NASCAR streaming channels who want to dump on it.

I looking forward to the 30th and see who is going to make nascar games and if there is a 2023 nascar ready hopefully it's monster games with iracing that will make nascar games the only thing that has been said is it's a known developer hopefully that means monster games I don't care if the engine is Unreal or Unity I think Unity is easier to work with than Unreal

I actually like this game. Is it bare bones? Yes. Do I wish there were real drivers? Absolutely. Is it at all original? Hell no, but it's a fine and fun spiritual successor to NASCAR Unleashed.
Yeah and switch lacks split screen multiplayer unlike cruis'n rush or that horizon turbo apple arcade game that costs way more on console. Fzero 99 counts as well too.
Do note pc again has bad optimization as vid states. Glad I avoided a steam deck and deleted steam on my pc. Also a shame no drivers from the nascar racers cartoon. We need Doug/duck tape guy.

It's a great game and is fun to play. All these reviews are from people expecting a simple NASCAR arcade game to be like Mario Cart or like Gran Turismo. Some people such as myself are not looking for anything else. I enjoy racing and the graphics are great. I would like more cars to be available.

It’s like Nascar Rumble cars and driving in Nascar Unleashed tracks but the game needs to be more chaotic to be more fun. It’s like the Chase Elliott of arcade games.

My ps5 version of it doesn't have the gray plus your on PC
It's your HDR settings that make the game look like that. Milestone games on PC have the same issue

How about the console version? Also Daytona USA 1 and 2 never had power ups and they weren't boring. The level design of this game is boring though. Not much to see.

The racing just dosent have much to it. It's just....hit the boost pads, that's it. The car's dont really control in a way that has a learning curve, there's no drifting, no need to brake anywhere, the car dosent lose grip for any reason, if this game had combat to it, like power ups, then it'd probly work, but as is....there's just not enough to the gameplay itself to warrent a buy.

These are the same idiots that gave us the notorious Flat Out 3 chaos and destruction. I too got that game and I did not install it. Mainly because it's hot garbage. If it's made by Team 6 game Studio. Then I won't buy it. Cuz I said so.

Ahora casi todos los juegos hay que comprar, este juego no es para eso, debe ser gratuito, pagar $40,00 es demasiado y no tiene pinta. Que decepción que pase esto. No lo pienso comprar por nada, no compren juegos de este estilo, se parece mucho a touring karts pero no tiene costo. Esperar hasta el siguiente año para que saquen un juego de verdad como hizo por años Nascar Heat hasta la version 5 y tiene todos los DLC hasta 2023, eso si es juego.
