Hahaha Thanks Miri!! Keep your dogs away from your credit cards or you may have one sooner then you think! 😆 you know they all try to be rockstars when we aren’t around! 😝
Thank you so much for saying that, I was seriously laughing as I was creating it imagining Figaro just slapping it on not caring how it looks as long as you see HIS face 😆
Thank you, Your comment is like a ripple effect as I am smiling reading it and about your kittens. Have you named them? I am delighted you had a fun time watching as it’s always what I hope for.
Thank you so much for watching and saying that!! Megan L is amazing and it was really fun to collab as we both had a silktone fuzz to create a track together!
What an awsome production. There is so much talent and details in this video. As a cat lover I loved the bleep from Figaro 😊. And as an engineer I loved the science approach and it was really educational. This by far the best channel I follow. There is just so much fun and good little things to enjoy. So big thank you 😊. I also got one of the songs you perform on my mind, I saw that I can buy it on band camp. So I will try to manage to do that.
Thank you so so much Peter, this is by far the nicest thing anyone has ever said about my work not only from a standpoint of loving cats and attention to details but as a person in a profession as well. I always hope someone walks away with something they didn’t know or they learn something because I’m grateful I always learn something new in creating these immersive animated videos. Thank you also for listening to one of my songs on bandcamp, all around made my day with your comment ❤️
@@PedalPlayhouse You are welcome. I just wrote my thoughts after I saw the video 😊. Its the song comfort is the lie from your maw video. Brilliant performance 😊
@@peterlarsson691 Thank you so much for buying that Track, I always try to write music that has a hopeful message and also with anything I create in making the world better. I hope to write more soon
Thank youuuu!! That was hands down my favorite sound honestly, It was something I used to play on my acoustic many years ago and always wanted to do something with it.
Yes! I thought it would be really fun to show how this fuzz can change its character depending on the temperature and with the bias knob it can be corrected oooorrr you can learn the number ranges you like as your own sweet spot! Which is the few I mentioned with the text. Glad you enjoyed, figure if I’m having fun others might too
Was not expecting that to be so punchy and gnarly when you first kicked it on! A lot of what I'm missing with my current fuzzes. Great presentation Joan!!
That’s what I was talking about! It’s a fuzz that really cuts through the mix in a way I never experienced in any other fuzzes I’ve used so that’s why I thought maybe I didn’t like fuzzes and only Rats mostly.. ya I was wrong but this was a good way for me to explore and discover in a good way I was wrong. With a drive in front it brightens the punch too which I had previously not thought of till Charles told me to try it that way. A lot of combinations and experimenting asking questions, I loved doing this the way I did and I’m so glad you enjoyed it ❤️
Thank you so much Pete for saying this! It’s all I hoped for in making this feature. I think the more we understand of what’s going on behind the enclosure the better we understand how to use these sounds and textures in our music and late night noodles! ❤️
Wasn't expecting this turn toward science, but it was great! Also loved the array of sounds you showcased. As much as I love a good wooly fuzz, some of the best fuzz pedals actually provide a full range of options, this seems to fit that bill.
Thank you so much for your kind words and I really thought if breaking down the science of this style of fuzz you can get a sense of how you can control the sound of the fuzz despite the temperatures which you can’t control. Apart from the temperature control once I learned the range of the voltages on the LED display I now know what number ranges give me the sound of the fuzz I loved the most! This was a lot of fun to make and I’m really happy it was a fun time in watching for you :)
Finally had a chance to wear them again, old costumes get recycled and used again for silliness is the great thing about the house band part. All in having fun making some music and nothing serious ever.
Thank you so much for joining the premiere Lyle and yaaa I never knew the style of Fuzz I actually liked the most was a germanium. I was always picky with fuzzes because of the volume and presence I wanted. I will most likely when I look into them in the future try more of them but I really do love the visual element of the Silktone because It gives me a control of knowing what sounds are where in the numbers to find quickly and if drifts correct it quickly
Great video Figa- I mean... Joan. Great video, Joan! The animations look great! Let's hope it gos viral so you can pay for Figaro's micronaut 😂 The Silktone sounds incredible!
Thank you so much Eduardo hahaha yeaaa that cat sure does put me in a lot of situations I’m not prepared for but maybe he can use his charm to become an actor and stop being a furry freeloader in my house 😆
Whoa, that is the koolest find..I now want to look on RUclips and find if there are any examples of what that sounds like. I love sounds in the ways they add textures and the more unique the more engaged I am in using them in my own work.
Well Joan, this was an absolute cracker! Endlessly entertaining and hugely informative. I honestly didn't know about the temperature affected germanium drift science stuff. The house band rocked my world as usual and your interactions with Figaro always make smile from ear to ear. Great work and what a fuzz!
I need an amp my size too, Figaro ! 😂💕🎶🫶🎸and a Foxy Foxy Pedal 😍👂🔥👏👏👏👏👏 Loved This !

Great demo Joan! Love the Figaro faces on the intro titles 😂😂😂
Thank you so much for saying that, I was seriously laughing as I was creating it imagining Figaro just slapping it on not caring how it looks as long as you see HIS face 😆
That was fun! Perma smiles all the way through. Well ok, I smiled, and my 10-week-old kittens watched.
Thank you, Your comment is like a ripple effect as I am smiling reading it and about your kittens. Have you named them? I am delighted you had a fun time watching as it’s always what I hope for.
@@PedalPlayhouse They are black Siamese & Main Coon brother & sister litter mates. Her mane is Ebony and his name is Shadow.
All the silly stuff is so much fun! 😂

That was great! The House Band was especially on fire 🤩

1:05 Figaro is a savage
No lies detected 😂 and with those big beautiful yellow eyes he gets away with it every time 😅

7:57 love the lab coats
Hahaha isn’t Figaro a handsome little kitty in that coat?
Killer! 🤘🏻
🙌 Thank you Scheissami!!
The combo at around 22:13 sounds so gorgeous!

What an interesting idea to show the extreme temp changes, awesome

Hey Joan nice work on explaining the idiosyncrasies of this type of Pedal. It has a nice range of gnarly sounds.

Awesome hang! Also glad we got to hear the bias set to 420 with your special guest! Megan rocks hard and so do you!
Awww Thanks! And yes that range is also a sweet spot 😆

Thank you so so much Woolly! It means the world to me you watched it ❤️
Very cool pedal and great video.. I think you should know that Figaro bought me an amp also
Oh no! How did he get your wallet?! I better get some way of curbing his klepto behavior!
Those glasses! Lol love it

Great job Figaro's Pedal Playhouse! I mean, Joan? I'm sorry, he paid me in treats to say it!
Oh no! Now he’s paying people to do deeds for him like the mafia 🤦♂️ this cat 😆 Thanks “We” appreciate you 🫂
Killer work, as always, such a ripping fuzz and fun crossover with the house band! 🔥🔥🔥
Thanks so much! I love how Present it in the mix especially the closer it gets to under 2.00 and that happy our guest could join I was really honored!
I have a selenium fuzz. It is one of only 20 ever made.
Whoa, that is the koolest find..I now want to look on RUclips and find if there are any examples of what that sounds like. I love sounds in the ways they add textures and the more unique the more engaged I am in using them in my own work.
The only fuzz in my fridge is on leftovers and no amount of bias adjustment or oscilloscope can remedy that.
Hahahaha no none whatsoever
SCIENCE!!
Seriously, go buy one. 😺👍
Hahaha Thanks for Watching Sassy I am glad you enjoyed hearing this Fuzz in the ways I gave examples, Made my day :)
