    Thank you, I just found this. You are a great teacher. Is it my imagination, or did I hear a minor 3rd when you played an Am at 2:10? It is a beautiful sounding chord, but I thought I hear the minor 3rd while you were on the 2nd fret.

      Thanks for your comment. Actually the minor you hear at 2:10 comes from the guitar on the background. I'm playing over the guitar A minor chord playing just 6th 4th and 3rd strings. If you play ONLY those 3 strings, it works with the minor chord if you play together with another instrument, guitar, piano or whatever. You don't have to touch the 5th and 2nd string. Thanks for watching. Grazie.

    aha Am chord great! What is an Em or Bm chord? Resort to single notes or full fret spread? Tricky instrument.

    • @PaoloErcoli
      @PaoloErcoli  Год назад

      Hi. Tricky indeed. Well, the thing is always the same. If you are in Am, with the bar on the 2nd fret, you touch only the 6th - 4th - 3rd - or also the 1st. You have to avoid the 2nd and 5th string. so for Bm you just touch the same strings I told you before, but with the bar on the 4th fret. Em is on the 9th fret, same strings. Ciao. Thanks.

      excellent reply. Just as I thought. I'm not lazy, just trying simplify this whole process somehow in my mind. Enjoy your European tour.
