- Seen here are big planes taking off from runway 18. Including the A380 from Thai and the wonderful Kuwait Boeing 777-300/er.

The 757 is a BIG plane, the 767 is VERY big, the A330 is HUGE, the 777 is VERY HUGE, the 747 is GARGANTUAN, and the A380 is MEGA-GARGANTUAN... the AN-225, I won't even go there!

There is less wind at Frankfurt in comparisment to Amsterdam. Amsterdam Schiphol airport is located fairly close to sea, so the wind is usualy stronger there :)

What are the last three numbers in the A380-841 for example
They stand for the engine type used for Airbus aircraft. For example the A330 had -243, 43 is a Rolls Royce engine. :D

The A330 took off really early compared to the others.
Antakken If you mean the first one to Munich, this is a short flight. Because a small amound of fuel is needed the aircraft is much lighter than others, the take off speed is lower, resulting in a shorter take off distance.
The Lufthansa A380 to Munich had a very quick roll as well.

I thought the same thing. it took 1/3rd less runway to rotate. Much less fuel needed to weight it down. I was coming back to Ft.Lauderdale from Hartford one time and our Midway Airlines Fokker F100 broke down while taxiing for takeoff. We all got a lift from Delta on a B727, stopped in Atlanta and then went from Atlanta through Miami to Ft. Lauderdale in a 767. The last leg was only 8 miles! It was crazy flying 8 miles in a heavy. As soon as we took off the pilot said "prepare for landing"

In this case it was a positioning flight since LH bases 5 A388 at MUC but e.g. after Air Berlin's bankruptcy and grounding in summer 2017, Lufthansa was operating heavies for a certain period of time to compensate for the sudden breakaway of seating capacity on highly demanded domestic routes such as FRA-TXL or FRA-MUC.
