Meg, it takes maturity to recognize that life invites us to grow and become our best selves. That happens by way of a lot of revision! I've had a few chapters - some I kicked off and some life brought along. In each chapter, I matured into a different version of myself. As I get older, I like myself more because I've grown into a person I like - I'm resilient, I'm optimistic, I'm willing to be willing, etc. Each one has helped me expand. You seem more settled and self-assured. Love it!!!!
Loved your video. I have lived in MI most of my life and had wanderlust too. I lived in Dallas for two years and loooved it. Very progressive city. I now live in Maine and love the slower pace. I did buy a home in Central Maine and love this part of Maine but I do miss Dallas Tex mex food! I lived in Santa Monica, CA for two years and loved it there. I was only 3 blocks from the beach and my little apartment was so cute. I am enjoying the lobster (esp lobster pie) and seafood stew in Maine. Have fun in So Cal!!
I remember watching your videos before my partner and I moved to Maine from Ohio! now that we've been here for 1.5 years, i'm learning I do not know if I can take 5 months of winter every year, it really does take a toll on mental health. I have my eyes set on cali as well, perpetual summer sounds like a dream
Great info You would be fun to work with you are always so positive 🌻🌺🌸 I’m a Texas girl and you are absolutely correct about the heat and if you are close to the gulf the humidity can be miserable. Keep the videos coming !!!
Meg never worry about you rambling I adore you and your energy , I loved this video even though it won’t ever be truly relevant to me as I’m in the uk with no chance to live elsewhere but just love any content you put out. Please keep them coming ❤
Love the video, Meg! I agree with you, it's fun to live in different places. Looking forward to future videos! Maybe one on the event that you have been invited to?
Hi Meg, Loved your New England videos, I am a Californian. I enjoy spending summers in New England, Martha's Vineyard, Bar Harbor, Kennebunkport, Camden, Portsmouth NH etc., New England is my happy place :). California is not a bad place to be either-both are beautiful, if you enjoy the outdoors and love the coast. If anyone is thinking about Maine, I would definitely include Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park on your list.
Im born and raised in LA and now I’m older and live about an hour north. I can’t imagine leaving CA, like you said everything is here and the weather is great. If you decide to stay I suggest you look into other counties that are safer and less crazy with the parking and traffic.
I moved to Maine last year. I love the cold and the snow so I can't get enough. Maine doesn't even get the snow like they once did, which to me, is a bummer! Edit: I loved your New England vlogs so much.
Thanks for doing the comparison video. I was thinking about reaching out to you to ask about the move to Maine from Texas. I live in North Texas and have really wanted to make the move to Maine after I get my masters degree in social work. I love Texas, but have developed allergies to this part of the state and miss the colder weather having grown up in northern North Dakota.
This is such a fun idea! 🌟 I love hearing about your experiences in different regions. It’s always interesting to see how places shape our perspectives.
Great video. Ngl... I was CRUSHED when you moved to L.A. as I lived my Autumn/ Winter New England dreams through your videos, but I've found I enjoy watching your L.A. videos nearly as much 😉 (I've lived in Southern California and it IS pretty great most of the time) Will you be giving us Holiday decor videos this year?
Hi Meg. Since I live in the Lakes Region of NH I started following you when you first moved here from Texas. I was curious as to how you would like New England. I have been following you since. You have a great personality and seem to really enjoy life. Originally we were from Boston but bought a farmhouse up here and never looked back. I love the seasons, so S California doesn't appeal to me and I'll take snow over 95F degrees anytime. Also I feel very safe with almost no crime ever. The foliage is vibrant right now. Crisp mornings and warm afternoon sun. I keep watching to see what adventures LA brings and if this will be your forever home. Gene
California is not my cup of tea at all. Been there hundreds of times from way up north to down south. Traveled and stopped in many places but could not convince my self to live there. In any part of the state. I have traveled a lot in the US and abroad and the New England area is where my heart is. I really hope to get there to live, not sure I will but no matter it's where my heart is. I lived in Vermont for a few years and wish l hadn't moved away( had a job offer in which l had to relocate). Praying I will someday be there. I am happy for you and hope you have the best of luck and a wonderful life there. You're a good person with a wonderful attitude, stay that way and keep sharing as you do!!❤😊
I lived in Los Angeles/Hollywood for five years. I didn’t mind the earthquakes until the 94 earthquake. Best way to describe it, it felt like Godzilla picked up my two-story apartment building and shook it violently. My refrigerator took a walk across the kitchen. After that is when I decided to move back east to Boston.
I think being open to what life has to offer is great, but two major moves in four years is also quite costly in both many ways. The money alone that you are spending moving, painting & otherwise renovating apartments, renting air bnbs, renting & buying cars plus how often you keep changing jobs might be a red flag to future employers. No judgement I would just hate to see all this running & starting over adversely affect you in the future. The illusion of a clean slate can be quite addicting. But lives carry on so there really is no such thing.

I'm thankful for the experiences I've had. That is for sure. I've learned so much
Thank you, Meg! You are an inspiration to me!

Thank you so much. That is so kind! Glad to know the rambling doesn't get old too quickly! lol!
I like your comment a lot. Meg has good energy and it's pleasant just to listen to her ""rambling "! She can ramble all she wants 😘
Love the video, Meg! I agree with you, it's fun to live in different places. Looking forward to future videos! Maybe one on the event that you have been invited to?
Welcome back! We miss you in New England:/ Have a great time in Calli & a great Holloween:)

Just watched your decorate a christmas tree from 5 years ago. The tree was beautiful.❤❤❤

Me too I watch them whenever I get the Autumn/ Winter itch (I'm in Oklahoma where we don't get great seasons)
So glad you're doing this comparison! See you later🎉
Really enjoyed listening . love my New England...

It's a tricky move, but I did love it! Maine is such a great place!
I LOVED this video ❤❤ Your chatty videos are always the best!
Oh good!! Lol! I never know how much chatting people will hang around for! lolol!
This is such a fun idea! 🌟 I love hearing about your experiences in different regions. It’s always interesting to see how places shape our perspectives.
It really is interesting. As difficult as it's been at some points, I'm super thankful to have all of these experiences!
I have been waiting for 10 minutes, I’m so excited to see you posting❤️
Great comparative info. During the 1984 Olympics, traffic decreased significantly! It was amazing!
Interesting!!! I would have thought the opposite!!

I'll definitely be hunting for some holiday/christmas-y things to do. I know it won't be the same as that New England magic!

Thank you so much! I'm so glad you're still following along! And thank you again for the foliage photo!

Woohoo...over 4K subs!!

Meg, keep that umbrella, come late November you will need it. Rainy season is Nov-March here in so cal!
That's a hot tip! I will!!!
Hi! Bostonian here! Love New Hampshire and Love Maine! I hope you had a chance to drive the Kanc in the Fall…. It’s exquisite!
I used to live in North Conway and was able to drive the Kanc a few falls in a row. Nothing like it!!

You might like San Diego. A lot like LA but a bit nicer.
How come your videos are always capped at 480p?
