I lost track of the number of times I’ve watched that playlist. I still to this day cry when watching Dinky coming back from a frozen kid. To see Dinky grow and become a mother was the very best feeling!

Its a good idea but Mia is just so young! I usually wait till they are a year old but i raise Nubians, Saanens, and Alpines so they are slower to mature. Whatever you decide Crystal I'm sure she will be fine.

Nope, usually we see a video of her prepping the bucks first. Hoof Trimming and baths for the bucks, plus them getting copper and selenium before breeding!

We were at the fair today, looking at the goats. lady has one pretty mean... looks like Honey and Pepper.. has horns so long!!! she looked shocked as he was gravitating towards us wagging his tail. Then says: well he doesn't ever do that except us. I didn't realize baby girl was close to his fence.. licks her, makes noises to her, she smiles and coos. 😂😂😂 was interesting how that went.

This is awesome information I have had goats before that I never learned about judging their bodies. My new pygmy cross goats, I want to do a workover on them. We've had them four days now and want them on the goat stand. Good to just check them in general and get their feet done and worm them.
So this information really helped!

I had a lady on Facebook claim she had a pair of goats about 9 months old and 28 pounds. Lol. I was like try feeding them.

This is another awesome way to track the girls. The milk tests are proving that the feed and conditioning is working. Now with the scale, you can further track the health of the herd. Love it. I always look forward to seeing what Cami, Mayo, throw and if Lodi will give you another silver. I also love the Dawn line. Im looking to see what Ray drops, I think she a beauty. All of their hair looks so healthy and Shiny. I'm sure you have said in the past but what is the mix of feeds you are feeding them? What is the difference in feed for the bucks, does and expecting mama's. Maybe you could do a video on nutrition.

Couldn't you put Leah in with the bucks like halfway through breeding season if she's bigger by then? If she doesn't get pregnant its no loss but if she does she'll just kid at the same time as the last few girls and have enough time before next years breeding to do some more growing.

Some of the older does may be chunking up for a hard pregnancy winter. Your animals will tell you how hard the winter will be. We are on the Texas Gulf Coast and our Great Dane is getting a thicker coat. I am expecting a colder winter here from that alone.

I think lifting them onto your scale could be more accurate as you are lifting up on the leash with most of the goats.
