The level with the British village to me is even scarier. As a British person, myself. The village feels familiar and even nostalgic. I would think it would be safe here but as you know the longer you are there, the worse it gets. This would be a literal nightmare for me. Something that once brought me happiness and joy turning against me.
The thing about the "you cheated" level is that once you get sent there (and haven't before) you can literally just ask for a second chance and you'll be sent back to where you were. However, if you get sent there a second time, you'll have to do the dumb quarter thing, and if you go back AGAIN, you literally can't do anything because the quarter won't be there. (at least from what I know)
This was a really fun video. Really enjoyed it. For something a bit different, how about a compilation of the most useful levels? Level 1 would be a good example, as it’s good for a supply run, and there are bases who are willing to trade with other wanderers.
My theory for the “terror dreams”level is it symbolizes it only the back rooms but could potentially symbolize childhood trauma such as bullying,abuse,neglect ext.If the entities are trying to drive you crazy they would put you where you’ve been traumatized most.Also awesome vid broogli you did amazing and might I say that character design is awesome!

Level Terror Dreams really fucks me up because I have audio processing issues & minor visual hallucinations, so I regularly fail to comprehend the words I hear (as if they're in an unknown language) & see shadowy figures dashing around in the corners of my vision Like, this awful backrooms level is just my life? I don't really know how to feel about that

That'd be cool. A narrative that goes through the backrooms with multiple characters would be cool. The thing is, since people can just add more rooms, it'd almost be a book without an end
i like how all the backroom levels are like: you´re gonna go crazy be stuck there for days and die, but if you make it through that 100 times, you can go to the next part wich is twice as bad
Does anyone else feel like Kane pixels made the superior version of the backrooms? I know he wasn’t the first, but it is well done; It’s full of mood, intrigue and the right amount of mystery and horror, showing us only one type of entity but keeping the lore vague and putting more time into what it would look like if a corporation encountered it (and then sought to capitalize on it by turning it into a storage and commerce space). Initially I got into the expanded lore before seeing his series but now that I’ve watched it, I can’t get over how ridiculously silly and lacking in quality control most of the expended lore is. It just feels like people stuffing this unique idea with creepy pasta level after level to the point where it loses all impact and ability to scare.
I don't know if this has been mentioned at all but Level Terror Dreams reminds me a lot of Bernhard's Door; a topic I learned about from RUclipsr, The Librarian. He speaks of this phenomena in which, when someone falls into a deep sleep, they find themselves in their childhood home or someplace familiar to them, except when they explore, they find themselves drawn to a specific spot in this location. Once there, they find a door they remember never being there and have an urge to open it, curiosity playing their hand. It's an interesting listen, and I'd urge anyone on to find it themselves, if they like that sort of thing.
New backrooms level Idea! On level 511 (or the “Clockwork Factory”), is a 1940’s styled factory with rundown machines and cobwebbed pillars hardly holding the place together. You’ll find yourself aimlessly wondering through wooden doors to different areas. The conveyor belts are working, but if you lay on them they’ll take you straight to the void. Every room has a clock, and it’s thought to display the time in the real world. But on one knows. The way to get here is to noclip in the ceiling on level 2. There is ONE entity on this level, and it’s a large spider that lurks through the walls and is known as the “Raven Keeper.” If it finds you, it’ll put you into an egg sack and slowly eat you until your no more. To escape, find a grandfather clock and set the time on it to 12:59 You’ll teleport to room 598

I was thinking about Level 29 especially this "Kraken" entity and information "It's can be a threat to all entirety of Backrooms" tells me that this thing is like at least Universal level (since Backrooms are this separate unstable collection of mixed Universes, or maybe Multi-Universal sized "Glitchverse" connected to some Universes with "no-clip roads"). It also can be like Azathoth right now it's sleeps and after awakening all Backrooms will perish. Well it all depends on interpretation of fictional cosmologies.
Dangerous level: level 952 aka 'the glitchedrooms' everytime you step it gets more glitched. On the 1st step you won't notice a difference. The more you explore the higher the voidbeast aka 'voidmaster'. DO NOT ENTER LEVEL. If voidbeast touches you, you pass out and wake up in the void aka 'the pitch black hellhole' The only way out is to get caught by the voidbeast but there is an unconfirmed exit and sends you to level 0. Now you have to start all over...
Level 790 is like Tooru’s Wonder of You’s ability. If Wonder of You gets activated, every possible chance of you dying happens, like a rare disease or objects flying at you etc. If you’re about to unalive to the ability which is called the “Calamity” then Wonder of You will appear before you get unalived.
I'd like to see you cover "Game Over". It would definitely belong in this video, it's ridiculous how screwed you would be if you got sent there! It's like You Cheated had a crack baby with level !-! and whoever gets teleported there is just straight up gonna die. It's also an actual Backrooms exit, but you have to survive it for a whole year, which seems impossible, especially when after just a week all entities know where you are, they get speed boosts to ridiculous levels and towards the end multiple clones of The Gamemaster get involved.
Imagine its 148.5 The Banished Lands The people who cheated and escaped 5 times is sent there and is constantly get chased by the entities but when the wanderer gets killed He will be respawned again and his memories gets removed and he wanderer is stucked on a cycle of running and dying without even knowing he died alot And sometimes the level gives out falls hope that you escaped then just rips that hope out when an entity just pops out around a corner or was just waiting behind a door
also, since in level origin there's no particles, you would not be able to see or hear if something came into the level because the sounds have to go through air and the sight works with some particle that i don't know how it's called

I think that Level “You Cheated” is worse than Level !. Part of it is that the maze is, well, a maze, but you also don’t know exactly where to go. All you know is that you need to find a quarter somewhere, and even then, the maze is enormous, if not infinite, and you could literally run past the quarter without noticing. There are entities chasing you, after all.

I really would like to hear you (and everybody elses opinion on this lvl i kinda want to make, So you spawn in from a random door on lvl 39 nobody noes where it is but whatever the matter,its creepy.You start off on a platform with 2 buttons labeled with "YES" and "NO" it will play any music genre you like (If you do not have one it will play a random music genre) It will start playing the song and it will have a screen pop up in fron of you asking:"Do you like this song?" Hey Broogli, I join your discord a while back, and I really wanted to put in a back rooms level. It was going to be a joke level, but it was also going to be kind of serious. When I went to put my back rooms level in, somebody else was doing the same thing. And the moderators are very mad about it. Why are they so serious about joke levels? Why do the levels have to be like extremely detailed? Why do I have to make my explanation really long? That takes the fun out of it.
I remember watching a video that said a wall was talking to them and then the person got too close and then got stuck buried in the wall forever (very weird and disturbing and scary)
I have a theory, what if when you die in the Backrooms you actually return to the front rooms right where you no clipped, and you don’t remember, but are doomed to enter the Backrooms again until you escape (so we could all have been in the Backrooms yet never remember)
Well the only way to tell if you are in the backrooms is if you keep on getting jumpscared by a character named " pinhead ". So basicly the pinhead level is where you are having a dream about the real world where you don't exist and keep getting jumpscared. So yeah. HOW TO SURVIVE PINHEAD go near light. Unsafe Unsecure More then average entities ( Some are big in power ) In the Endless house (Its real name) Are some entities in rooms with nothing It has traps, It seems like your going in a endless loop, but it is actually doing this until you turn crazy After part one of this trap, An entity drags you to a Room with a Large, glass and metal cylinder It uses this to transform you into an entity: kinda like the red light district theory The next trap it has, is ghost floor. Its where there is a miscolored tile in the floor, and if you trip in. Things called- Puller entities will drag you down and eat you limb by limb. Entities: Pullers Skinstealers Smilers (in dark rooms) Peasents Knights How to enter: Noclip through a dark wall in level 2. How to leave: Noclip through a drawer in the level, it will take you to level 5. Thats my level entry! hope you like it
For the tranquility level I guess blind people would have no problem cuz they wouldn't be able to see anything that was going on so there's that little good thing about that level actually

My theory personally is that the red rooms is a combination of level ! and level 0. Also the "don't fly too close to the sun" is probably a reference to the story of icarus in greek mythology. Y'know, this is kinda weird, but one time smth happened to me, so I was walking down a college campus when I saw a strange door, it felt out of place so I opened it up. Inside was a long hallway that looked like level 1 almost. But when I left the hallway and closed the door, the door locked and I never saw that door again, it was very strange

For the level ''False Tranquility'' what happens if you arrive with a gas mask and just overall good protection? does the toxin still affect you or are you unexposed to it, making the level stay fine and all safe?

So you spawn in from a random door on lvl 39 nobody noes where it is but whatever the matter,its creepy.You start off on a platform with 2 buttons labeled with "YES" and "NO" it will play any music genre you like (If you do not have one it will play a random music genre) It will start playing the song and it will have a screen pop up in fron of you asking:"Do you like this song?" This is a tricky question because you do not know what to choose...If you choose "The wrong" Answer you are doomed to the void like space underneath you filled with a huge amount of entitys who are blood thirsty and filled with rage.(Where the "Tricky'' part comes in) So like i said if you choose quote The wrong answer you are doomed,but you do not know what the Wrong answer is,You see the LEVEL chooses wheather IT like the song itself,if you choose "YES" and the lvl does not like it,you will die.If you choose "NO" and the lvl likes it,the samemwill happen. Hey Broogli, I join your discord a while back, and I really wanted to put in a back rooms level. It was going to be a joke level, but it was also going to be kind of serious. When I went to put my back rooms level in, somebody else was doing the same thing. And the moderators are very mad about it. Why are they so serious about joke levels? Why do the levels have to be like extremely detailed? Why do I have to make my explanation really long? That takes the fun out of it.

I have a theory, what if when you die in the Backrooms you actually return to the front rooms right where you no clipped, and you don’t remember, but are doomed to enter the Backrooms again until you escape (so we could all have been in the Backrooms yet never remember)
Well the only way to tell if you are in the backrooms is if you keep on getting jumpscared by a character named " pinhead ". So basicly the pinhead level is where you are having a dream about the real world where you don't exist and keep getting jumpscared. So yeah.

In the Endless house (Its real name) Are some entities in rooms with nothing
It has traps, It seems like your going in a endless loop, but it is actually doing this until you turn crazy
After part one of this trap, An entity drags you to a Room with a Large, glass and metal cylinder
It uses this to transform you into an entity: kinda like the red light district theory
The next trap it has, is ghost floor. Its where there is a miscolored tile in the floor, and if you trip in. Things called- Puller entities will drag you down and eat you limb by limb.

Smilers (in dark rooms)
Peasents
Knights
How to enter:
Noclip through a dark wall in level 2.
How to leave:
Noclip through a drawer in the level, it will take you to level 5.

Level Origin is my favorite, mostly because there is a ton of lore related to it.
Broogli did you forget to mention on backrooms level "YOU CHEATED" there can sometimes as a rare occurrence of partygoers and if you do find one of these you dont need to worry. because they are the safe kind of partygoer and as stated on M.E.G if you do find one run to it as this partgoer can send you to a " *safe level* "..
My theory personally is that the red rooms is a combination of level ! and level 0.
Also the "don't fly too close to the sun" is probably a reference to the story of icarus in greek mythology.

Y'know, this is kinda weird, but one time smth happened to me, so I was walking down a college campus when I saw a strange door, it felt out of place so I opened it up. Inside was a long hallway that looked like level 1 almost. But when I left the hallway and closed the door, the door locked and I never saw that door again, it was very strange

I love how Broogli is talking about an alternate liminal space that has entites that are hostile and will kill you but still play elevator music while hes doing it.
