Using limestone is a very durable material. I have a limestone house but of smaller irregular shapes. It is already over 300 years old. I would choose limestone blocks if I could build something myself. I am curious why you have chosen to use a concrete beam to start, surely it would be better to use blocks from the base of deep foundations? an initial concrete base may be necessary.
I’ll quote this fella ; “ We’re not going to need exterior or interior perimeter wall insulation. “ “ Each brick weighs, roughly, 1,300 - 1,500 lbs - so ; they’re not going anywhere. ” This should’ve answered your questions. 🍺
this is almost exactly what i want to build so cool thank you for posting the series
Thanks for watching!

I love this I’m about to watch every video. I’m in Georgia, how does it retain heat and cooling? Storm proof? I need more details 🥺

I so want to build a limestone Earthship house. I am lost on how to build the roof. I want a house that will last 500 years.
