Maggot here, I do recommend Mrs. Coach watch the live acoustic video. The emotion comes through even stronger. Also, most of their lyrics are metaphorical and really deep, I think you will both get more out of lyric videos than official ones.
"Wow!" - Mrs. Coach 6:13. You said it, Mrs. Coach, you said it. Also, always respect a reactor that won't BS the community and just say every song is their "new favorite". I had forgotten / never knew this song was called 'Snuff', so I kinda thought this was going to be another one from Slipknot I hadn't heard. As soon as the first few notes came in, I remembered. I really like the song as one that just has that feel, that kind of song you keep in a mental memory bank for when you just need to get something out. To let the music and the lyrics echo your own feelings and move past them, accept them, etc. 👍
wish more people could be like you guys where you disagree, and doesn't cause fights. just shows how incredible his voice is. i love both sides of him.
This is one reason why you should explore the lyric videos so you can understand what they're saying and realize how amazing their lyrics really are and as far as content goes just like any human we all have different sides to us that need to be expressed
"This is the slow one. It's another personal one. Again, not naming names, it's about someone who helped me through a lot and I thought she felt the same way that I did and then she really let me down. At the same time, it was good that she did, because it was that final push to me figuring out myself. The lyrics are pretty self-explanatory." - Corey Taylor "Corey doesn't really write music for Slipknot - but, when he came over to hear the songs Paul [Gray, bassist] and I were working on for All Hope Is Gone, he showed me this… I had him lay a scratch track down in the studio. Then I went in late at night, without telling him, and laid down some drums… When he heard it the next day, he started crying. It's Corey's masterpiece." - Joey Jordison A couple quotes taken from Wikipedia about the song. Paul Gray and Joey really pushed for the song to be made and after Paul passed away in 2010 they dedicated the song to him whenever they play it live. It is now also dedicated to Joey as well who passed away in 2021. R.I.P. Paul and Joey.
@CoachCastTV if you want an absolute slipknot banger (one my favorites) listen to metabolic. Vermillion is soft for Mrs coach. Another close to before I forget is sulfer
You are now familiar with Corey Taylor's pure singing voice as well as his personal heartache. Coach, this song grows on you, took a little while for me too. When you find the live acoustic performance of Corey alone you even further feel how personal this song is to him, but I personally love how the production version has the instrumental build up. Look up Stone Sour's song House Of Gold And Bones. Thats Corey's other band and he's a little lighter on the metal there, but very headbangin. I think you both enjoy Stone Sour because they are heavy but with more discernable vocals.
Totally agree. At first I was like eh. However now I love this song. Ever thought I would like these guys but man I feel in the trap can’t stop listening to them now
stone sour has some amazing tunes wish i was here months ago. Corey is a hell of a vocalist he can scream and sing, but when he sings he hits the gut every time. Man knows how to hit the soul on a different level and I'll always commend Corey for that realization.@@CoachCastTV
Glad you guys are reacting to more Slipknot!! Please react to their song “Wait and Bleed” music video! And also please react to Slipknot - surfacing live London 2002! 😊❤
I’m going to be at the Dallas Slipknot concert later this year. I hear a southern accent on yall, I’m hoping I look over and see Coach and Mrs. Coach there! 😂
You must react to Vermilion part 1 and later Vermilion part 2, you will love it guys. Nice reaction. Slipknot is not just screams and heavy music, Slipknot is art.
The live acoustic is hands down the best version. I hope you give it a shot coach. It hits differently, mainly because the emotions felt are so much more potent coming through his performance. I can understand your reasoning for writing it off though.
Great reaction! Hope to see Nero Forte back up on the channel some day 🤟 Keep checking out more of their music videos, they're all both a visual and audible expirence
Hey, great to see you are doing this song. If you liked this one I would highly suggest that you listen to the song called "liars funeral" it is a perfect combination of melodic and heavy stuff.
I'm with you Coach I like the heavier/faster stuff but at times when they slow down they can still make a great song. For Mrs. Coach and the slower stuff check out Vermilion, Pt. 2 and off their most recent album ( The End, So Far (2022)) - Adderall.
honestly. you have to show her a lyric video for psychosocial. the lyrics in that are pretty deep than just sounding catchy making you want to push a grandma off a cliff. pls take my suggestion
Something more Mrs. Coach style would be stone sour same singer and guitarist as slipknot more melodic but some of it is heavy 30/30/150 is my personal favorite
@@CoachCastTV as far as slipknot songs The Blister exists is very drum heavy song definitely a banger and Orphan is really good too. I have seen slipknot 5 times my profile picture is me with 3 members of slipknot!!

Was wondering, seen you with a NC cap and a WVU cap. Are you wearing them because you like the teams or are you from one of those states. Just wondering.
@CoachCastTV Well, I currently live in WV (all my life) and just started to watch your channel. Just to let you know, Corey Taylor the lead vocalist of Slipknot, has two other bands, Stone Sour and his solo band, plus a couple of side projects. You should check out Stone Sour, Mrs. Coach will like it a lot.
Hey man, you should be open-minded. You really don't know what you're missing. Give a chance to the acoustic version of this song. The lyrics are away more meaningful when you see a man with just a guitar singing it.
We are very open-minded on this channel. That's why we have everything from classic rock to rap to K-pop. We are also very honest and say what we like and don't like. Coach doesn't like acoustic and honestly Mrs. Coach isn't normally too fond of it, either, so we wanted to do the original version of the song and felt the lyrics were important so we wanted to focus on those. We respect varying opinions. Thanks for watching.
@CoachCastTV thanks for the reply. I really wish your channel to become bigger each time, and I don't have anything against you. I saw some videos and subscribed. So I'm not saying about you. It's about what you said. First, a little joke: You are open-minded. Classical to k-pop to rap, but acoustic is too much. Sorry for the joke. Now I will be serious. After the "second reason", came one worst. Basically, saying we don't care whatever you say because "we are coaches". If that's true, I don't care about your opinion either. I think that's not what you meant to say, but saying that as a reason to do whatever you want.. it's not a good vibe to us on the other side. Best regards.
@@HecPeverell No offense taken. A lot of our viewers get the dry humor. It's sarcastic. It's not meant to be derogatory. In fact we have a lot of Patrons on Patreon and people on Facebook we talk to all the time who are subscribers, and we talk with as many people in our video comments on RUclips as we can, so clearly, our subscribers and viewers are very important to us. The online "Persona" of Coach is just that. It's not real life. It's the channel character. We realize not everyone gets it. We also are both in our 50s and have heard many music genres in our lifetimes and have a good idea of many things that don't resonate with us at all. Example, Mrs. Coach hates the blues, just simply cannot tolerate that style of music. Even Coach doesn't understand it, but respects it. If we listen to blues until the end of time she will still hate it. Coach feels that way about acoustic music, and country music, and bluegrass, and boy bands (thanks to Coach Junior playing them all the time growing up). 😁 So we know some things we simply don't like much and don't want to spend time on those things as much (or at all as in the case of country music, LOL). We are enjoying discovering new things we do like. Anyway, thanks for watching and the dialog. Just remember, Coach on the videos is not necessarily the person in real life. The comment section here, and on Facebook, and Patreon, are much better ways to tell who Coach really is as a person. ✌
I hate this song and think it should have been a Stone Sour song rather than a Slipknot song. But I do like your reaction and opinions on it nonetheless.
