    I watched that live. It was a nasty injury. Sucks because Humbert played really well in Davis Cup and was starting to build a little momentum.

      Yes, Humbert is one of my favorite players of his generation. Great playing style, great personality. I really admired him when he won a marathon match against Tsitsipas and after the winning point could barely walk

    I would expect nothing less from Foki. He literally started a charity to help animals. No person who helps animals is a bad person.

    To be truthful I was never fond of Fokina but seeing him here and how quickly he got to Humbert was wonderful. Even when he retired Fokina kept hugging him and reassuring him. It made my day to see it ❤

    Nasty fall. Hope it's not too serious for Humbert. Hope he gets well soon. He was just starting to play well and then this injury happened.
    ADF showing again why he's such a nice guy. Despite them being friends, it's nice that people get to see the warmth side of ADF. Well done and best wishes ahead to him 👍🏽

    These side scenes would often reveal the true character of a person, no matter how fierce he played on the court. Nice and kind person this Fokina is. ❤️

    Poor humbert such a talented guy especially when he was one of the youngest ones on tour too bad injuries are holding him back

      Yeah, when he's on his game he's SO good. I remember that match at the ATP cup against Medvedev last year, that was insane

    I still don't understand why every time when the tennis player got injured in the court, it took the medication team ages to come to check the players. So confused TBH. Any professionals to explain it?

    What doesn't get talked about enough is the stark differences in male vs female player relationships. I see male players treat each other as comrades and they often share each others' happiness/sadness and you can often see sincere handshakes at the net. Can't say that about any handshakes on the WTA side...

      I gotta agree for the most part. The coldest handshakes occur on the women's side of things. Not sure why.

    Cuz on-court injury often happened on Fokina in 2021 and 2022, so he might knew how painful his opponent felt.

    Fokina is kind, funny and down to earth, a great person indeed. As for Humbert: watching him struggle with injuries over the years makes me very sad.

    Hope he gets well soon. But these guys are running and turning and sliding at full speed. It's a wonder they don't get injured more often. They should take better care of their bodies.
