I have the exact same bike and I’m only 12 , but I’m very tall it’s a great ride and pretty power ful surpriseinglgy and the other thing is it’s very comfortable I’ve only been riding for about two years and switched up from the bike I originally had which was only a 125 so yeh
I've put road tyres on this bike now and geared it up 2 teeth on the rear sprocket. Use it as daily transport..you are right with them being comfortable with good power.
@@ChristRegeneration The 2 teeth up is actually on the front drive sprocket not the rear...can also go 2 teeth down on the rear with the same result. Tops out at 110kph now...did just over 100kph before that....Lost some low end power now though.
Hey, was just wondering if yours has a pouch with tools in it. Saw somewhere that these came stock with a pouch containing tools and a manual, but mine doesent have it.
@@vinto34 oh nice. I got mine about 9 months ago for free in a rather sorry state. Fixed a lot of stuff on it, and rebuilt the top end now it runs good, still breaking in the new piston and rings though. Are you going to make another video on this bike? Like a top speed or something, yours is in great condition!
Sorry for the late reply..youtube doesn't let me know when i get a new comment. The bike did around 95kph with the stock sprokets before i geared it up and it does just over 100kph now but these aren't designed for constant high speed.
@@vinto34 thanks for the reply, just put a new piston, rings head gasket etc in mine and will definitely have to get a smaller rear sprocket- it has so much power that it goes to the redline pretty much instantly in every gear. can’t complain about that though! 😂
i have one now i straight piped it, took the back rack off and tor the front end off and put mx plastic numberplate on it and i rip the shit out of it ahaha but reliable
Very nice
One of the most reliable farm bikes ever made
True the engines just keep going.
Want. Look at that seat! 👍
Is the seat original ? I’m restoring an ‘84 model. Looking for a good seat or someone who can recover. I’m based in NSW, Australia.
The seat is original on this bike...been stored inside all it's life and looked after is why it looks so new.
It hardly turned over before it fired, nice.
New battery..although it's started like that from new.

vinto34 is there much improvement with the extra two teeth. Or is more needed?

Bought the bike new in 1998 and it has the vinyl pouch with the tool kit and the owners manual.

I have the same bike too
Honda CT 200, the only bike with a recoil starter ?
i think so..unless the ct125 ag bike has one...that might be kick starter.
Hey bro? You dont need to use a clutch on these aye
No manual clutch bro...just change gears.

These can take a beating but keep going...in the lower gears this one lifts the front wheel...good power for a 4 stroke 200.
Ctx bushlander
I just started restoring one of these, a 1987 model: ruclips.net/video/tfBZfcarhmQ/видео.html
Great to see how good they look new!
Sorry for the delayed reply.
This was restored also...bought it new in 1998 but got rusty due to being at the beach house.
