We really packed a whole lot into one day! Last week’s episode of our time diving Devil’s Den Prehistoric Spring in Florida was the beginning of our first travel day leaving the Sunshine State for the first time in 4 months. If you missed that video, you can check it out here: • DONE ✅ AFTER 5 YEARS |... .
Devil’s Den was our last Florida adventure before heading up to Savannah, Georgia, for the first time! We stayed at Lotts Island RV Park which is a military campground in Savannah. We tried to get into a Harvest Host in town that we have heard really great reviews on, but they were booked. Check out Coaches Corner the next time you are in the area and need a place to stop for the night! They even have a few sites with hookups!
Our weekend in Savannah was condensed into 1 evening because of bad weather and cold temperatures rolling in. So we made the best of our time by heading to Forsyth Park to see the iconic fountain and Civil War Monument.
We then drove out to Tybee Island to grab some dinner and walk along the beach! We missed the Tybee Island Lighthouse tour but will definitely be back SOMEDAY for that one! Dinner at North Beach Bar and Grill was delicious. We can’t wait to get back to Savannah to explore even more!
And now for the weather: this was one of the rougher travel days we have ever had on the road. With pouring rain all day and over 7 accidents on our 4.5 hour journey to Fayetteville, North Carolina, we added an extra hour and a half to the journey and were ready to get off the road for a bit.
We were in the area to visit Corey’s brother who is based on Fort Bragg in the Army. The rain created some RV off-roading fun in his yard! Don’t worry, Corey had the truck thoroughly cleaned the next day!
Time with family is one of the greatest blessings that comes with full time travel! These goodbyes are hard, but as Corey said, we would rather say goodbye than to have never said hi in the first place.
Our last leg of the journey before getting to Tennesee to visit with Nathan and Marissa from Less Junk, More Journey was a stop in Greenville, South Carolina, to visit with friends from high school. Love when these quick visits can fit into the schedule!
Stay tuned for next week as we hang out with Less Junk, More Journey and begin our trek up to Indiana for some RV maintenance, seRV events and some fun surprises! Be sure to like and subscribe and click on the bell icon for notifications when we release new videos!
Don’t wait to live your life, find your 🔆SOMEDAY🔆 now!

We drove through Nashville yesterday and the traffic was nuts. So many people getting rear ended and stopping traffic. And then we discovered... It was all because Taylor Swift was performing at the Nissan stadium. Our new joke as we get close to a city, "I sure hope Taylor Swift didn't get here before us."

My wife and I love savannah. Its where we met and got married. Both of us were stationed at Hunter Army Airfield for 6 years and still didn't get to do everything savannah and the surrounding area had to offer. Although two of those years were spent in Afghanistan. We're hoping to get the RV over there soon. We look forward to your video every week. God Bless.

Probably because it was just one night, we booked it like 2 hrs before we got there. Tybee was booked and we missed the harvest host by like 2 mins while checking to make sure it was ok to detach if we stayed there😃

When you stay in a church parking lot, do you check with the church first?

Two questions for ya'll; Do you keep a "To Do" list for things to return to or ideas for future visits? and How many miles have you towed your trailer around this great nation? Just curious.

Thanks for sharing family time. By the way, are there FOS stickers for sale? Wifey and I are getting ready to hit the road cross country this year and feel naked without your sticker on our new to us GD Reflection! I cringed seeing the mud on your rig, lol.

I have a 2019 Chevrolet 3500 with the L5P and it’s still under warranty for the powertrain and I have an aftermarket warranty on that truck. Will that diesel deep clean work for my truck? I don’t wanna avoid any warranties.

Yes sir, it will work. Not worries about voiding any warranty .

Traveled through Savannah probably about 60 years ago. It was a dump. Kept on moving.

Cory, I am an architectural drafter specializing in single family homes for over 40 years, drafting and designing homes very literally from the ground up, from raw site to turn-key complete. Almost all of my hundreds of projects have been built in western Washington State, and I'm REALLY familiar with drainage issues, having lived in a state where it rains more than 150" a year and where are the good sites were gone 100+ years ago. I'm certain I can help your brother figure out how to solve the drainage issues in his side yard. How do I contact you in a non-public forum so that I can give you my contact info to forward to your brother?
Another great episode, BTW. Jess talking about how friends you have a long history with are so special reminded me of visiting with one of my high school best friends who I hadn't seen in over 20 years. I was visiting with my son in Long Beach, CA and she came up on the train from her home base in San Diego. My son and I met her at the train station, which had an elevated platform. My son and I were about 50 yards away on the ground in the parking lot and the sun was in our eyes, so all the folks up on the platform were little black silhouettes to us, but I knew Linda (my friend) immediately, even in silhouette and after 20 years, the moment she came into view. I waved at her, she saw my wave and waved back. We got to spend most of the day together with my son and his wife, went to a baseball game at Angel Stadium (across the street/highway from the original Disneyland). Angel Stadium has it's own train station stop next to the parking lot, and she had to catch the last train back to SD around the 3rd inning, but once again, even from the nosebleed seats of the stadium, in the deepening dusk, I was able to pick her out of the all the other folks heading for the train station and just before she entered the station, she turned and waved. I waved back, thinking there was no way she'd ever be able to see me, sitting in a crowded stadium, but she emailed me later that same night and told me she had. The powerful connections with people that we make over our lifetime are just so...I don't have words for their importance. And it's not often that I find myself at a loss for words, hahaha.

I bet every video, every town, every state- somebody says you're this >< close to them. Yup. I wish my wife and I could have met you when you were in Greenville. But you just can't meet everyone, right?! One day hopefully.... keep the videos coming until then please. (and long after!!)
