good video with lots of great points. I have two classic vibe squier's and I love them! I love playing them and looking at them. I was able to get nice colors on them too, with the special runs that some shops offer (like Sweetwater, Guitar Center, CME). 72 thinline telecaster and a 70s jaguar. Thanks
years ago I fell into the trap of thinking the more expensive the guitar the better it must be. I recently picked up a Squier 40th anniversary strat and its one of the best guitars iv ever played. And it only cost around £350 👌🏻
I almost stupidly planned on selling my very beautifully made, featherweight 'Ice Blue' Chinese "crafted" (CY Yako factory serial no.) 2011 Classic Vibe 50's Strat after repairing it with upgraded electronics and RWB Lace Sensors strictly out of curiosity. I subsequently noticed that it had been made, from the Yako factory no less, with Perfectly Quartersawn neck wood, exactly as straight grained as the Quartersawn neck grain on my EVH Wolfgang Special. Go figure. To this day that Squire that I only paid around $350 for brand new is an irreplaceable and definitely PRICELESS instrument to me that plays effortlessly, does not strain my spine or cut off my leg circulation, being so light, and still looks gorgeous to boot. I also gladly put a SuperVee BladeRunner trem bridge in it and angled the trem claw ala Carl Verheyen specs to balance out the inherently uneven string tension and so, it stubbornly STAYS in tune too. Priceless is that 'cheap' little Squire to me that I would not part with for Ten times what I bought it for.
man that's so true I own squier strat se, it is a proper stratocaster, no doubt, so playable so useable so joyable.... I think for some more profesional use like playing gigs you can just swap out electronic, put some better pickups maybe, or maybe even thats not necesery at all... you videos are great...

There's "social implications" for me if I play in public. I used to have friends though. Just keep your pants on people and all will be forgiven.
Look at Eddie Van Halen in the beginning he had $130 guitar that heput together
... sorry, Schecter NJ Traditional Strat thin C neck = no thx
