I love the paint color Retreat. It was my favorite right away. So glad you chose it. You do need a plant there. Get a REAL one. Something low maintenance. Looks like you get some natural light there. 🌞🌱
Thank you SO much! I have wanted shiplap in my kitchen for so long but my budget hasn't allowed for the materials thus far. This is such a great alternative and leaving me feel so motivated that I can finally do this, thank you, thank you!
Great job! it looks beautiful and the rug looks very nice :) good choice! however, i really believe that a small tree is the missing piece of the room! an olive tree would compliment the cabinet color very nicely, don't you think? or any other small tree plant if you're sick with olive trees cause we see them everywhere now! either way, it needs greenery there :D
Thank you so much!! I agree! I didn't like the faux plants I tried, so I am going to keep looking for the right greenery! I love the idea of an olive tree and think the colors would be perfect too! Maybe I need to try a real one instead of faux!!
@@AngelaMarieMade i've had a real one for a year and ended up putting it in my backyard cause it's sooooo hard to maintain... honestly, go for a faux! and since you're so much into DIY you can even make it yourself! :) i did like 3 for my house. It cost me around 40 $ / tree for the branches (aliexpress), the ciment for the pot, the pot and the hot glue :) you can then have the height that you want and with more or less branches... :)
I always enjoy your videos and your makeovers! Really pretty. I ended up putting an outdoor patio rug in my entry which is so durable and easy to clean even with our boots. I wonder how the green would look on your handrail or door and if it would tie it together with the built-in's.
Thank you so much Darlene! Love the idea of the outdoor rug for the entryway and it sounds very functional. I think the green would tie in nicely, thanks again!
I love the color it’s perfect. I going to paint my cabinet the same color as yours. Very modern. Love it. I’m also going to do a shiplap wall in my dining room following your instructions. Thank you.
Me: Wow that is one boring looking wall Wife: SHIPLAP! Looks great! Speaking of paint shortage, our local WalMart here in eastern NC has absolutely no spray paints (I use Rustoleum 2X for my projects). It's sad and scary as the rest of the store's shelves are in the same condition!

I'm so glad you found it helpful! :)
The makeover is amazing. I definitely need to buy a pocket hole jig.
I know I’m 1year late but I love the color and your channel! So glad I found it!!
So glad you're here! :)
This turned out just lovely. Well done.
Thank you so much!
It’s looks great! I think if you used the basket for a plant at the end it would look great. A monstera plant would be great dimension and not so tall
Thank you so much! That's a great idea! I will have to look up that plant for sure, thanks for sharing with me!!
I love it!!! The colors are perfect. I love the organic concept. Great job!!

Lovely, I would just change the pillow, I think the pattern does not really combine with the rug pattern
