Natalie B is one of my all-time faves to ever play this game! She went from this under the radar/invisible personality whom we only ever seen during ep. air time when it was somebody elses confessional talking about their strategy. Then she came to life as this sensational fan who went beyond fanning out by flaming out others in her confessionals. Very peculiar and unique edit, her game is admirable.
I really enjoy these videos! It would be cool if you also included the players’ comments and votes at final tribal, although I realize that’s not really about them. Still, Natalie’s question for Parvati is iconic.

I will say in defense for Parvati and Amanda keeping Cirie over Natalie is Cirie wasn't as beloved like she was in Panama. They liked her, but they liked Parvati and Amanda more. Eliza would've voted for Cirie, but Ozzy, James and Erik would've voted for Amanda. Jason, Alexis and Natalie would've voted for Parvati. It looks bad on paper, but thinking about the relationships of this group it's not as bad as people think, still a risky decision though.
Cirie would've argued the hell out of her case to win and Amanda would've flubbed it up like she actually did parv counted on Amanda coming through so she backed out on purpose I think it was absolutely the right call to take her out at 3 but it was definitely risky

Cirie is a better speaker and a huge issue the jury had is that Parvati is mean and Amanda is milquetoast. Cirie is neither. I don’t think it’s a blowout but I can’t imagine Cirie losing especially since Amanda vs Parvati was a lesser than two evils scenario. Remember, Parvati was considered a low-tier winner until Heroes vs Villains. She was NOT expected to win Micronesia going in and I would argue she’s one of the few winners that arguably won at Final Tribal Council. And so much of what Amanda’s game so impressive is that she was basically playing two pretty damn good finalist games back-to-back. They were not remotely considered the legends they are now.
watching Micronesia live I had the misfortune being spoiled by a Survivor insider site saying Natalie won the season. fortunately that was only partially correct as she made it to the season finale hihi😅

The Jason vote imo cost Natalie a win. Getting the fans together at that vote and getting rid of Cirie or Parvati pretty much ensures a fan will win the season, likely her. But going with gender wars kinda exposed the flaw with the fans vs favorites gimmick-fans too enamored with favorites
I dont think she wins vs Jason with that jury even though she *should*. The jury was filled with a bunch of bitter men she destroyed and he has the underdog narrative of surviving vs “evil women” or w.e plus Jason/Erik were her strongest moves. In this alternate timeline, she turns on parv/amanda/cirie and loses her flashiest moves even if its a better strategic play and even if they dont hold it against her idk if any of them will really respect her decision enough to vote for her vs strong challenge competitors w/ an underdog story. You have to keep in mind that the entire reason they wanted a full female finale was because women at this point in survivor dont really win ftc against men they align themselves with. I think she could’ve won with a good FTC but it would’ve been an uphill battle & she likely just preferred the all womens end to ensure that someone she wanted to win won even if it wasnt her.

That being said, the precedent was very much of a man beating 2 women at FTC at that point which probably dissuaded her pretty heavily. Also, the last two women to try to align themselves with Jason/Erik got exposed to the group (Ami) or given a fake idol and voted out (Eliza) so she was probably wary of being sold out too. I do think she has a good shot of winning the more I think about it but I also don't think I would've taken the gamble if I was in her shoes tbh. I'd much rather be apart of some iconic winner's story like Cirie/Parv/Amanda rather than ruin their games for the sake of giving Jason or Erik the win even if it increases my chances somewhat. We'd have to also consider how the target could easily shift from Amanda/Cirie after Parv is voted out to Natalie if she blindsides too. Overall, there's way too many variables I guess.

I always find the character videos at first to seem very boring. Like I had no interest in watching a 30 minute video about Natalie Bolton when I think there are more interesting players but when I do watch them they are always entertaining. It makes me realize WHY they get the videos because they always end up more interesting then I remember.
