Just saw these guys last night open for Les Claypool’s Flying Frog Brigade. Was very impressed! The drummer is a machine!

KEXP always had the best sound engineers and mixes.
I'm in love with the synthesist...how she plays, how she moves, how she looks...everything everything.
I love how all the hosts are so passionate about the bands they have as quests! It makes the interviews much more interesting to listen to, when the host does not have a list of spicific questions they have to ask. It becomes more like a conversation, which gives you an idea of the characters in the many different bands, and that is just great!

was at the gig in aberdeen scotland and they were awesome...mad keyboards and very loud, best gig i have been to in ages, i actually bought there vinyl lp circles at the gig and have only done that once b4 at a tool gig in glasgow 13 years ago....just great music..enjoy

Love it. Modern with some pop sensibilities. The free flowing guitar reminds me a little bit of Robin Fraser (formerly of Cocteau Twins fame).

Muted audience reception but they were far and away the best thing about the show.

this is a first listen and rips, the cableknit sweater is a dynamo, the keys and synth and dirty guitar merry beautifully while the mellow vocals jazz it up, the lyrics a dish best served on ice - so does anyone hold concern that half the boondock saints part-times at kexp and is this where #theswellseason went or is that emile hirsch fresh from 'prince avalanche' and by emile hirsch #spencerkrug

Sorta wish I hadn't watched this, though both are super adorable. They are best listened to as driving music or background to almost anything. Likely really powerful in concert. Is she like a keyboard version of Meg White? (I'm a feminist *and* White Stripes fan and not a musician; this is not an insult at all.)

I think she needs to sing louder and that they need to work on their live act, great music, they show that they dont need a live drummer, they do it perfectly without one, but the show is still a bit boring, i mean i can listen to this while i do other stuff because it sounds so good, but watching it is boring

I like these guys but wish the keyboard player would let go once in a while. She plays the same keys over and over and over.... on TWO synths for cripes sake! Becomes monotonous after a while
