      If any of us had a yearly review by our employer and you failed to meet the targets on which you got the job you would be out the door,,if at least 75% of manifesto promises are not met within an agreed amount of time ? Politicians should be removed and no longer be allowed to remain in politics, new people should be introduced.

    Not that it's great now, but my god, the Labour MPs who leave and breathe woke/diversity/ inclusiveness (to insane levels) are chopping at the bit to make sure no one ever gets offended, and all we need to do is just don't talk to each other.
    Most of the old calmer/sensible Labour has gone; now its a mob I would not trust with protecting a bag of crisps.

    He would say that wouldn’t he but it was a bland speech full of platitudes and rhetoric, like Starmer saying how it was good that 50% of school children go to university many doing degrees with little relevance to the jobs market, and then sayings 300,000 houses a year for 5 years will be built, with out explaining where all the bricklayer, plasterers, joiners, electricians and plumbers are coming from, with 50% already ruled out of the equation by his own words.

    Sorry to say, but it was a lot of promises in the air. The only question that I have following his speech is "how???". How can you build 1.5 Million homes and being environemental friendly?       I was quite Centerist in my younger days as I've got older I've moved to the left.
      While I've enjoyed the fruits of free University education we now see Graduates taxed to the hilt.
      My son didn't go to University ended up with multiple A levels and a distinction in Horticulture and after 5 years full time work he is on +30p above minimum wage.
      There is no way on this earth I would ever vote Conservative Thatcher destroyed any path that would garner my vote.
      I vote tactically but viewing Starmer he gets better at every outing, he was extremely awkward when he 1st became leader.

      Debt to GDP has been going up year on year by the Tories from 62% in 2010 to 100% now
      If Your going to decrease the debt you can't do it with taxes or cuts you have to increase GDP per Capita which Blair/Brown did

    If this is his best I would hate to hear his worse. He is uninspiring also does not mention things like inflation , how can we afford to borrow more . Immigration does nor exist to Labour maybe because the more the merrier for Labour as they would like to have an open border policy. Labour wanted to keep us locked down even longer so we would have been in even more debt. I wonder if Begum has bought her plane ticket yet as Labour will have her back in the country in a flash.       They have a ‘positive plan’ alright we will all become ‘surfs’ again, taxed to death for any hair-brained ‘woke’ scheme they come up with.
      Remember he wants to rejoin the EU when the biggest contributor Germanys economy is failing. So whose taxes do you think will be propping it up? Remember how had he been in during Covid his measures would have been so draconian that we would not be allowed out of our homes. Oh they have a plan and I think only the really weather will like it.
