If they tone his damage to 30, i think hed be fine. Hes not cancer though. He just has a really high reward for getting a kick or caber.

I tried that when I first faced hound. I noticed he dashed a lot but anytime he sees you gb he will kick. It would bounce me off and he’d get that unblockable
The cents light cancelling was on point tho. It can be difficult to GB him because of him getting off the kick while he is GBing. Valk and warden have the same thing with their charges. That goes for both the cent and highlander

Angelus2700 well not at least you can use kensei but knowing hound he’d still find a way to destroy anyone’s he’s in front of. My prophesy has come true the first day hl came out when I was training a noob. I said whoever masters this character and fluently can go in and out of will be the strongest player in the game because of how strong and how much mixups he has. I think kensei and hl are the best characters in the game not because of their power but because of how they have an answer to everything if you think. Unlike some characters who just have to sit there and take it. They can effectively and efficiently counter anything while staying in mixups. That’s what for honor needs to be. Exactly like kensei and hl. Except hl dmg should be 35 and light should be 7 js

But seriously though that offensive heavy need a dmg nerf, the 40 sits at the perfect number to 3 hit all 120 hp character, combine with the now ridiculously good kick n grab mindgame, it is way too easy to do for such a huge reward
No it doesn’t. Fantasy behind highlander is big damage. You can dodge or parry it, man. I also know that there is a small window where you can avoid both kick and grab with 1 dodge. Invest some time into practice against them. You just gotta learn.

Hound does the same thing every time? I've seen the 1v1 series watchers hate on people like this cent for being one dimensional but hound uses the same moves every time. He doesnt fake an offensive heavy into kick, or use any other mix ups. It's either raw kick or kick into grab; not to mention he only goes into offensive from a backwards light.
God highlander does so much damage for being fast and having HA.

8:30 HL literally dodged 3 times in the entire span of 1 move, then did his 40 dmg kick bullshit. Losing no stamina on any of those dodges and losing minimal stamina on that kick. This is what we call unbalanced characters
No the HL is balanced you have to know how to counter him (orochi)

The only time he kills me is when he ganks me in dom, because if you fight him often you know he can usually be found running around with a stacked team ganking everyone in dominion

Either the centurion kept attacking way too early or I was just seeing things
For all the people that complain how op higlander is and that he needs to be nerfed in encourage u to play him for a serious amount of time and u will see tha u get ur ass handed by most of the players in game becasue a good 60 to 70% of the people play assasins or kensei. Yes his kick into caber toss is hard to dodge and react to. But all off his moves take alot of stam u can hit him out of the kickaswell as out of his toss and his offensive stance. He cant counter gb out of offensive stance he can block and he cant crushing counter out of it he has a good dodge in that stance, fast light a good bash and unblockable 40 dmg heavys. Hes good yes but hes not S tier in any sense. Mainatining his offensive can be really hard and his defensive is good but extremly slow a good player can parry almost anything u throw at them. U have to workl really hard and use all of his moveset against good players. U cant just kick into caber toss and u will win 100% of u matches no. Most of the time they hit u with a fast light or dodge roll or know the dodge timing on caber toss and u will get fucked up. Highlander is al about the mind games and he has a good moveset to support him with that. Hes very good but not S tier hes a good A tier.
You know that cent could've used the second heavy cancel into a gb to catch that dodge from HL in offensive stance but i guess im not a number one cent in for honor
