Five Nights at Freddy’s: Security Breach is the latest installment of the family-friendly horror games loved by millions of players from all over the globe. Play as Gregory, a young boy trapped overnight in Freddy Fazbear’s Mega Pizzaplex. With the help of Freddy Fazbear himself, Gregory must survive the near-unstoppable hunt of reimagined Five Nights at Freddy’s characters - as well as new, horrific threats.

It's kinda sad, Sun only wanted to play with us even though he knew what might happen and was super anxious, he still wanted to keep us entertained.
It is sad, yes. He was simply following his programming. He saw a child that was up later than they should've been, so to keep the child safe he tried to keep them occupied and play with them (likely in the hopes they would fall asleep). This is notable in the fact that he tries to stay in Gegory's eyesight, keep his focus on him, and doesn't let Gregory move. He's likely trying to figure out what to do - the pizzaplex is closed, the daycare is closed, Gregory shouldn't be there, yet he is, and his programming says "care for the child, keep it occupied" - he also seems distinctly aware of his other half - Moon - and wants to prevent that side coming out. Likely two sides of the same coin, Sun's programming says care for them while they're awake, Moon's programming says keep them in bed for sleep, Sun due to his caring programming likely perceives Moon's programming as too harsh.
Though, the biggest disappointment in-universe for the characters in FNAF and especially Sun and Moon is that they could've been REALLY GOOD. Sun and Moon could've been AMAZING daycare robots! But whoever designed them made them too rigid. Which resulted in what we see. An overprotective, creepy and somewhat disturbing Sun with good intentions, and a terrifying Moon that misunderstands what it should be doing.
The other characters - Chica, Monty, Roxanne - are excused for the most part due to Vanny's corruption of their programming. We don't really get the opportunity to see what their normal programming is and how it would've reacted to Gregory. And we can't use Freddy as an example either due to his... Circumstances.

Hearing Roxy cry after being destroyed is kind of sad. Really makes you feel bad for her considering she is so full of herself. They really gave the animatronics a lot of personality in this one.

Yeah Roxy isn't really full of herself. More she lacks the confidence to be anything other than a winner. It's why she constantly tells herself that she's good enough. So in her destroyed form, its more she's realised/seeing that she's not. And that would break anyone.

To me, Monty’s death is the most brutal, he got ripped in half and more damaged than the other 2. I like his design and his voice honestly, he’s badass.

8:38 This is terrifying. Monty is actually holding his own against the sheer weight of a giant metal bucket that could probably crush a human instantly. If he had been on solid ground, he would’ve been able to at least hold it. That’s nuts.
Which makes me question, what was Gregory's plan if Monty actually pushed it back? Doesn't he know that he's is capable of tearing off metal plated doors? The only thing in the giant bucket was a bunch of plastic toys and the weight of reinforced steel, if Monty lifted that, game over for Greg.

Chica definetly had one of the most brutal deaths in the franchise, the act of literally being forcefully crushed under the weight of something that is supposed to destroy fucking cars, must be so painful, even if they are robots you can tell that she had the frantic desperation and reaction

I love how the canonical adults of FNAF never think to bring a gun or a bodyguard to their second night of the job but this kid who’s trapped in a high tech facility for the entire game somehow engineers a method of execution for every animatronic he meets

to be fair, they're still active enough to be dangerous, so they haven't been SO damaged to 'kill' them. and they are even shown repaired in at least one ending

I know what you mean, the concern Freddy showed for them when you add their parts to him actually made me think that maybe there could have been another way. I hope future dlc explores events that happens before Freddy collapsed.

Just overall out of all the games I've played security breach somehow made the animatronics seem so much more human and capable of emotion but I mean they literally robots being controlled by the vengeful spirits of murdered children which is pretty tragic on it's own. I'm really happy with what they did making them seem more humanized instead of just murder bots doing anything to get payback even at the expense of other human lives.

I'm still really sad Monty's death was the only "Permanent" one, by which he doesn't appear after it. Chica appears after you crush her and so does Roxy, but Monty is just gone for the rest of the game. Hes my favorite of the bunch so idk, notably sad. I'm sure he was maybe able to survive like the others, but doesn't change the fact he was absent (at least he went out with a cool boss battle I suppose)

Update 2: Monty hate train cus apparently he killed Bonnie is hurting me and since this comment gives me a voice I'm back! I really dont think Monty killed him, a lot of the proof notes his hate for freddy like in the one monty golf minigame. The only issue is Monty didn't code that, he can't code the game hes a animatronic lol. It was always kinda teased they have an on-stage rivalry, as in the opening cutscene they butt heads a tad during the show, so I just assume that's a joke the coders of monty golf put in. Now, Bonnie going to Monty Golf is worrying, but we need to remember Monty isn't the only one confirmed to go in there, what about Vanny? Monty could have a purpose, killing Bonnie to be the bassist. But 1. How would he know Bonnie wouldn't just be remade? And 2. Why would Monty have the programming to kill an animatronic, thats seems hazordous, and if he did, why not kill Freddy? Basically my theory: Vanny used Bonnie as the parts for new Afton. Thats all thanks.

If I had to compare Chica and Montys death, I’d honestly think Chicas was more brutal.
Before I go into this, I decided this by multiple factors. How long it took the character to die, how bad is their suffering afterwards, how much pain they felt in their last moments according to their reactions and how much it totaled them
I’d like to take hypothetical reasoning first on the matter. Let’s consider that their deaths were the actual end of the two and they never got repaired.
Monty fell from a very high location and got broke and heavily dismantled on the way. However, I chose Chicas as more brutal as the same thing happened twice and she died slower. Monty seems to have either “died” instantly or at some point just gave out.
In Chicas death, we can see her get smashed by God knows how much weight to the point of what we in this fandom would considered a withered Glamrock Chica. However she was still alive, got her mouth literally kicked off and then got crushed between two compactors while the life slowly drained from her eyes. It’s just gruesome how she basically suffered there because we can still see movement (I know what you’re going to say, ____ moved in their last seconds too! My point still stands because Chica is more of a reaction and kind of a fight to live or strain rather than malfunctioning before giving out. Another addition to my statement is that the moment she “dies” her eyes literally are forced out their sockets and her jaw is even more dislocated, it’s like she felt completely cracked the moment she died.)
Note that in addition to my argument in (), there is a high or if not a guaranteed chance the robots can feel pain and emotion so I’m more sure Chica was strained fighting for her life in her final and excruciating moments.
Now consider the actual events of the game. I still agree Chica died in the most gruesome way but I feel the Monty suffers his “death” the most! Feel free to state your opinions too, I just thought of sharing this
Additional Note: the only way I could add Roxy to this is the emotional pain and the strange suffering she has to go through. However she gets knocked clean out and just malfunctions and twitches out so it’s an eh for me with the suffering.
The Sun's jumpscare feels a lot harmless as if you didn't get an instant death, but once you turned off the lights, that's the moment you messed up.
The Sun/Moon animatronic is like Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde on cracks in a nutshell.

i had mixed feelings for this scene. it's enough epic the way the kart crush Roxy three times, i would even laugh nervously while seeing this but just after , seeing her in a pretty bad shape (she have an amazing design so it's sad to suddenly see her metal skeleton) , with an agonizing noise make me feel bad for her. like is she doesn't really deserved that. after all she was puppet for Vanny

The game was great, but it feels like some stuff was left out, like not animating the ending or having an intro. I don’t know, I also felt like there was supposed to be a final boss battle with Springtrap. Is it just me, or was there more stuff to the game that got cut out or was rushed? I hope they add more stuff to it through dlcs or patches in the future. Or at least do a director’s cut of it.

I’m just saying it could be better with cutscenes, an intro that starts the story by having Gregory visiting it and establishing his family and whats happening or will happen. @@liamerolduffy7738 It is quite possible for that to happen since its on steam they could honestly change a few things like that, but I highly doubt it- unless alot of people are giving it bad ratings or leaving reviews. I cant wrap my head around the fanbase saying its 100% good game, I just dont see it. I was really hype for the open world and the game giving you missions and going against bosses, but the “horror” didnt really hit me, it felt more super-natural and just a thriller theme game.

From the fact that molten freddy is seen in the same game as glamrock freddy, in what appears the be the same place and at nearly the same time, I would say its safe to assume that glamrock freddy and molten freddy arent the same guy

after all she looked the least ferocious of the Glamrocks it would make sense if she helped Gregory, unlike Monty and Roxy who looks like real predators, even if i also feel bad for these two

Those security guards couldn't have done anything to the animatronics they were facing. Stronger animatronics, might I add, from an older, bulkier design. No heavy machinery or items to crush/destroy said animatronics (and no way to bring such things in without arousing massive suspicion and being immediately fired). They're made of metal. You can't just kick or bang at metal to destroy it. Especially if that metal is intelligent, has motors and humanoid movement, wants to kill you, and there's more of them than you.

More like he was trying to keep you occupied. As a daycare animatronic, his programming likely revolves around keeping children occupied so their parents and older siblings can do their own thing. Not to say he doesn't have programming to keep you safe, he probably does, but his main thing is to keep you occupied :p

Only issue with that is Vanny is looking for you. There's no guarantee Sun will protect you from Vanny, especially as it's been established Freddy can't see Vanny w/o Roxanne's eyes, and Vanny seems to have this "corruption" effect. Also it's not guaranteed the other animatronics can't enter the Daycare, it's just never been shown that they can or are willing to.
