Great bio on Wockenfuss. Very good player also.
I forgot about Wokenfuss, thank you for posting
My grandparents moved from the coal mines of Garrett County MD to Edgewood, MD (after serving in the army during WW2).
Very interesting. Sorry for your loss.
Always great content
Excellent content friend
Wockenfuss was one of my favorite Tigers as a kid. So much so that his jersey is one of the two Tigers jerseys I own...the other being Ron LeFlore.
You've not been one to take shots at people before. To flash a picture of Peter Santanello as you say "exploitative TV hosts and RUclipsrs" is unfair and really wrong. I like your channel, but Peter has taught me more about Muslim countries, Islam in general by interviewing Muslims in this country, including showing a mission that a lady in Dearborn, MI started to help women escape domestic abuse with their kids, get fed and housed, and taught job skills to make them financially viable in their own homes, safe from their abusers. He's interviewed Mexican (mostly) men in SoCal taking kids to a farm to experience the country life, and to learn to ride horses. He's interviewed a lady who rescues women in Las Vegas from sexual slavery, and gives them a home and a way to recover from the trauma, safe from their pimps. He's doing great work, and giving people a chance to tell their own story without judgment. He's a source on the ground to show us the complicated nature of immigration on the border, with no political spin. He's earned more respect than that. His videos recently in Appalachia let people tell their story, including the slavery of company housing and being paid in script only good in the mine owners company store.
I didn't realize the guy was a household name, or had a body of work in charity of any kind. Just assumed he was one of hundreds vlogging and profitting from "danger tourism" in the backyards of the less fortunate. I'd find it hard to believe everyone agrees what he is doing is in the best interest of this country's hollers and housing projects.
Wockenfuss stance reminds me of mickey tettleton. Who was a oriole and a tiger......huh. i guess everything is connected
There are folks at home with no computer or phone who will enjoy this particular video. You know who they are. Maybe they will put in their hearing aids. Terrific video.
Great video, i did not know Wock passed away
You fit a whole lot into such a short video. Loved this story.
Wasn't expecting such depth after the algorithm sent me your latest video. Awesome
If you're looking for depth, I believe this is my all around best video for that.

I have his 1979 Topps card on my desk now. He and Darrell Evans are the reasons why I wear a tigers hat. Wv boy here as well!
Darrell Evans was a classy player and very underated..And in my opinion should be in the hall of fame..
