Bawk usually plays on a modded, ass rape, nightmare difficulty so I think he could probably solo both games on Very Hard with ease.

I have no issue playing through both games solo on Normal on PC. Beyond that is a bad time/joke without using only Top tier unlockable characters.
The time limits are the real difference between most mods and outbreak. You can't just explore, although you can use a guide. So maybe.
1:25:30 So there are two ways to tell which order someone is gonna be called on. 1st is by who joined the lobby. If you are cycling through their memeber data before the match, as the order they joined will be the order they are called in. And second is, as was stated, the order of the character inventory when the screen is paused. I believe that if someone is in the room and the pause screen is opened, if another player enters the room, rhe first players inventory will be moved accordingly. So if we have Yoko in the room, and Cindy comes in, the Yoko's inventory will then be moved to the right of the cindy's to make it more appearent thst the *Cindy* is the first partner when holding L2. Again, it becomes a bit trickier when not everyone is in the room, but youre able to at least get a geist of who is the first or second partner when using this method.
Man I'd love to see an Outbreak File #1 and #2 Remaster that's cross-platform online...

He does say Odor. Just pronounces it different. Makes sense, since he sniffs the air and makes that remark. He's a Vet who knows the smell of death.

I bought this and the 2nd not long ago, I found it quite difficult (the AI kept being goofy and making me have to save them). But mainly it's the doors not being a cut off/safe barrier, so zombies can keep passing through them.
Maybe I can play this with a friend or online one time.

for those unaware your DD214 is your discharge papers from the military, it's important showing you served, for getting VA benefits, etc
I think it's supposed to be a form for joining S.T.A.R.S. or something, as Kevin's bios mention that he's tried to join the team twice but failed the tests each time. Regardless, AFAIK he's never mentioned to have any kind of military background; that's Mark the 'nam vet's thing.
To be clear, that paper might be modeled on a DD214 for all I know, I just mean I don't think it's _supposed_ to be one in-universe.
Sometimes I'd like to imagine the Outbreak games remastered as one game with everything together that could be easily enjoyed with crossplay on all current platforms then I think about how Capcom has been ignoring these games since 19 years ago :/
@BawkbaVods - The MARK cutscene in Stage 1 is referencing his veteran status in the sense that he recognizes the smell of burning flesh and he had to "carry out" that order... it's a surprisingly dark reference for one of our heroes. In case that's what you meant by your confusion about that cutscene.

Outbreak, eh? Ah, this game... I wish for a remake of this, and a good remake, too. I don't want them to rush it like they rushed RE3 Remake. I personally think the RE3 remake is okay, just okay. It's not great, not awful. It could have been as great or even better than RE2 remake if they just took the time. It's a shame, honestly. I remember playing outbreak for the first time and being so confused, lol. The first thing I said when the game started was,
"You're not Leon.." 😂

i really feel like they could've chilled out on the difficulty for Outbreak. I understand that it was probably in interest of replayability, since there are not that many levels, but the game feels very replayable even if you're steamrolling the game, seeing as there's so many different characters, outcomes, and collectibles. The collectibles alone are absolute insanity as they require way too many runs with different characters on different difficulties.
The first time i played these two games i must of been like 15, i never even thought about how good it could be online and simply completed it on normal mode with npcs multiple times.
desperate times was my favourite, i was shocked they didn't make the storyline of that a DLC in re2r, even as single player.
Most underrated game of the franchise, even with the terrible AI of the npcs. If it ever gets remade i just want them to bring back marks voice actor, it's all i ask.

resident evil outbreak file 1 below freezing point does the elevator in the beginning of the level have a chance of killing you iv been curious for years about that because when I play, I see it falling a little before or when you climb the vent sometimes and I can’t tell if it’s going to kill me or not if anyone can answer my question that would be much appreciated

To me, I'll put Resident Evil 0 & Resident Evil Outbreak: File #2 as the "hardest" ones in the franchise only. The other REs are extremely easy compared to these two.

Very hard lone wolf outbreak is the hardest Re ive played by far. Most mistakes result in a loss. There is nothing funnier than using a slow low health character then getting run down by a turbo zombie then getting one shoted.Desperate Times took me the longest to finish by a long while. I haven't played this in ten years and i can still tell you what areas destroy me. love this game!!!

Strange ? ABut did Reverse actually sell well or do people still play it. Outbreak would be AWESOME for Ps5 etc but a lot would be locked behind DLC I think 🤔🤔🤔😔❤️

i think they if they remake the outbreak games they just just remake them from the ground up exactly as they are but in the re engine, maybe add more characters like mainline game characters that were in rc as skins for other people, claire could be a cindy, leon could be a kevin etc
