Dr. PAL says atleast hit 20g protein and 10g fiber per meal. Protein uses more calories than fat or carb to digest and hence keeps you more full. Protein intake along with strength training would help a lot to gain muscle and lose fat. Calorie deficit with good intake of protein helps you to lose fat and weight faster. This is from my personal experience.
