    Dude. Thank you. I had a rash for years. Bedbugs traps were always empty. Even though I take a very very expensive psoriasis medication, my doctor said it was psoriasis. A few months ago I got cockroaches. I put out sticky traps and boric acid and the powder. I have been cleaning and cleaning and decluttering. I shampooed the rugs last month. I sprayed insecticide. I'm still cleaning. What still keep finding are carpet beetles and the larvae everywhere I am cleaning. Everywhere. I didn't even know what they were until I took a picture and did a google image search. Carpet beetles. The thing is the rash is gone. Now I believe I have an answer to the rash mystery. Also, two years ago I had breathing issues. I couldn't breath. I assumed it was from smoking so I quite smoking. It got worse especially in the winter. My doctor told me I had COPD. I just couldn't breathe. Now I have a mouse problem every fall. Mouse poo has viruses. Viruses cause bronchitis attacks. I started wearing a biofilter mask when I vacuumed. My breathing got much much better. During this whole cleaning, because of the roaches, I discovered mouse poop everywhere. In the furnace vents, in the ducts, the suspended ceiling . . . everywhere. I am cleaning that up. And I am not using a vacuum cleaner. Bleach spray and paper towels while wearing the heavy duty mask with the two filters. I couldn't carry groceries and walk through a parking lot. I thought my life was done. It was just mouse poop. I do have to get the ducts cleaned before the furnace starts going this winter but it is worth it. Who would have thought that a cockroach infestation would be such a blessing in disguise. BTW, roach poo also has viruses that can flare up into bronchitis attack. Keep up the good fight against pests. You are doing god's work.

    I had/ have bed bugs and my pets have been scratching a lot so I thought the bed bugs were living on them (I’ve seen different answers to this online) as I saw a small black bug on one of my cats, but after this video I think that it’s just fleas as well. Thank you!!

    I had the exterminator in and the team found fleas and not bedbugs. @Jason, many thanks for the videos. They are really helpful. When you can, please can you talk about things that need to be taken care of before and after treatment for different pests, like vacuuming/mopping whole floor, near baseboards or not. Not all exterminators are always into as much details as you.

    Thanks man you helped me a lot… it a big problem here in Philadelphia… I don’t take the bus or public transportation anymore but I know people who have got them from the train… including me in the past… I solved that problem and had a few scares over the years but it was usually something else… once I was living on my own.. but recently I gave a friend a ride and two days later I started getting bit… there was also a fire next door that had me scared they where in the walls.. I inspected my bed… treated with cross fire the whole nine… and yes they fall easily cuz that’s how I confirmed. Anyway I isolated my problem to my bed by only sleeping there and treating everything else with de and cross fire… I only got bit at nite on my bed a few days after I would wash and install a mattress cover… come to find out they were finding there way out… lesson learned.. removed cheap covers bought bed bug rated version treated bare matter with cross fire… washed everything…. And haven’t looked back since … finally healing up after being bait lol

    I was 💯 convinced I had bed bugs a couple years ago. Went to extremes, spraying & tossing everything. Never found any indication of any other than new bites would appear in the morning for over a period of 3 days. Turns out it was what I had suspected from the very first: chiggers.
    I remember getting chiggers as a child, but for some reason I had been under the impression that they get on you, bite once & die.

    I would default to fleas in the first place, before I considered bed bugs, mainly for the fact I have cats. You don’t need to have a pet to bring in fleas, though. Your neighbor could have a flea infested yard, and fleas will hitch a ride on you also. Another insect people don’t think about that can bite you are bird mites. If you have a habit of feeding birds, or if they have made a nest in or near a window, bird mites can find their way inside to feed on you. That poor family got a scabies whammy from that dead rat, also possums and raccoons can carry a lot of parasites, along with squirrels and bats, and this is why it’s best to keep them out of your house and attics/basements. Starving insects aren’t too particular about where their next meal comes from.

    Been dealing with this too for over a year. Can't find any evidence of BB. I get long lines of scratches and not in places that are easy to reach either. On my back ankles covered places on arms. ( I have heard some varmint in walls, ceiling). My attic is really hard to get to. Ugh! Another pest control bill for me. Thanks Jason!

    Thank you for the confirmation. Your customers story sounds almost identical to mine. I ended up going to dermatologist and was told I had scabies. But I took have no partner...ahhh must be the the trash pandas that have made their way into the space over the bonus room and attic by ripping thru the walls. But after treating my body I still was seeing the tiny black "pepper" bugs everywhere and you can't see scabies. Some are bigger than others and some really hurt when they bite while some you can't really feel.From everything I've researched they seem to be 2 different kinds of mites. Bird and rodent mites. I find them stuck to me everyday. The rodent mites are worse and sometimes get stuck in my skin almost like a tick. Both of these tiny mites have been almost impossible to get rid of. I have removed any bird or squirrel nest I could find, tried dimenteous earth, constant vacuuming, various pesticides, and they just won't die. Occasionally I get a few days of minimal activity or I might only see a few or get bit once, but then on the 4th day they are back and it's like a flood of them. Ive had to throw all my furniture and clothes out. Washing and drying them on high heat didn't kill them nor did boiling them or steaming them and nuking in microwave. Any suggestions on what to use for bird and rodent mites? An arcarcide/miticide? An IGR? I have no animals or young children so it can be as potent as need be. Please help!!!

    Best way to tell between scabies and bed bugs, is bed bugs like biting easy to reach areas on exposed skin. Scabies like to hide in warm spots i.e. Armpits, between the fingers/toes, groin, etc. and are transmitted to different areas on the body (or person to person) via scratching/skin abrasions. Scabies will live on your body right underneath the top layer of skin and burrow thru your skin. Pets, sharing bedding, towels, and aforementioned adult activities are the most common ways they spread around. However scabies are wayyy easier to treat than a BB infestation, even tho scabies cause insane amounts of itching and physical distress.

    I know someone who got scabies from their dog!!

    • @KirstenMarie_MS3
      @KirstenMarie_MS3 Год назад

      That's because scabies and sarcoptic mange are caused by the same ectoparasite: Sarcoptes scabiei mite. There are many different species that all have different definitive hosts. And you don't have to have sex to pass them on. They're common among people who live in overcrowded spaces.

    Recomend something similar with crossfire in Europe please!

    • @GreenAkersPC
      @GreenAkersPC  2 года назад +2

      Crossfire is from the neonic family of pesticides which have been outlawed in Europe because of their toxicity to honey bees. Even though crossfire is used inside only and won’t be exposed to honey bees, the government doesn’t see the difference
