When will people learn that a State of Play is not for their major titles unless they are close to release. All the hype every time just to be disappointed, yall set yourselves up for this every State of Play. Sony on Sony time get used to this shit already🤦🏿
I had low expectations but it was the games that was shown. Only Astro and a new IP that looked good, I don't think they needed to run a state of play, they should have dropped trailers.
SOLID 7.5. Ballad of Antara, Where Winds Meet, Behemoth, Alien Incursion, Astrobot, Silent Hill 2 and Monster Hunter are day 1 buys for me. I do find it interesting that all the first party studio games shown release this year. If their strategy moving forward is to release within 6 months to a year after revealing a game I am ALL for that. If that’s the case and I can assume that, when they do show me Bluepoint, Housemarque, Santa Monica, Naughty Dog, Sucker Punch, etc., I will get to play those games within a year, that’s a beautiful piece of revelation for me. 🎉
3/10 Only games that kinda stood out were dynasty warriors origins and silent hill 2 remake even though the graphics looked a little weird. I always wanted to play the original silent hill though so thats another reason im looking forward to it. Everything else was whatever to me. Astrobot looks cool but im not hyped

There was 3 games that i am interested in, Ballad Of Antara, Where The Wind Blows, the Astro game and the 2 PsVr2 games, Behemoth and Alien i will buy cos i have the Psvr2! But the rest was mid to trash! Specially that Marvel Rivals Hero Shooter, that looks like mobile Dog turd! Gonna be full 9f micro-transactions and shit! Until Dawn is a great game but i own it, and have beaten it about 4 times! I ain't buying it again!!!! I hope Xbox has a banger on the 9th, cos if this is what we can expect from Sony cos they have no worries with having to compete, well those days of amazing showcases are ova. This Staye Of Play was such a disappointment!!!!
