I've climbed Sacfell Pike around 9-10 times from different routes/ valleys, special place. Great day out you had and glad the weather worked out for you with the inversion!

Yes that's awesome! I bet you've seen it from many different directions and in a variety of weather conditions too in that case! Such a great area I agree, I'd have enjoyed it either way but I'm sure I'll struggle to find a day like that again anytime soon! Loved it. I'll be sure to go back, superb! Enjoy your future hiking, perhaps 11th Scafell hike some day soon!

What a magical experience! So much to see and love in this video. You must have been over the moon with this one, Russ, and you gave us some of the most glorious views ever of a cloud inversion including that rainbow spectre. Icicles on the grass looks and sounds wonderful; always brings a smile. This hike is some benchmark :)

Thanks Joan! It really was an awesome day! It's very rare to get an inversion right across the Lake District from morning until sunset, so fortunate to be there to witness it, and the fog bow, glory sun halo all in 1 day! Yes agree, it will be hard to better this one anytime soon but I'll sure give it a try! Take care and all the best.

Great shots of Scafell. What camera do you use for photos?

Hey Ben, I use a Canon eos R10, and I think lens for this I had my 28-200 on at the time. I do carry a 100-400mm too but for that image it was shot around 50mm 👍🏻
