One of the most elevating talks and thoughts I ever heard. Being in India, from childhood we have been hearing about tatwamasi and aham brahmasmi. But never understood it even cognitively, forget experientially. This talk I heared more than 15 times over 6 months and parallels followed Inner Engineering. You can easily see the connections. And it is so liberating once get it intellectually. (If you dnt get it, please "Power Freedom and Grace" by Deepak Chopra. It will be useful to understand the terminology he uses. Experiential understanding is another thing. But this is definitely a door. Deepak Chopra: what a learnt dignified life of purpose 🙏

I haven't even listened to the video yet, but I love the title because I'm noticing how people avoid expressing and investing in their abilities, passions and desires, outing instead for careers, prestige, and money thinking that is the key to happiness. They're never as happy as they thought they would be, but they've settled. Now they look around at someone who lived their dreams, did just what they sat out to do. That person had their challenges, but they're no worse for wear. They're happy and they know who they are. Now that first person no longer knows their potential. They've become who others told them they could be successfully and they're haters of those who know who they are who have lived boldly and successfully. So I'm giving this video a thumbs up before I even hear it! LOL

Deepak Chopra tells the truth without attempting to get people lost with the vocabulary. I love it because I'm the same way. So if - and I mean if - all people of the world no matter the sex, skin color, financial conditions, social status, etc, etc, etc would apply the teachings of this video, there would be peace on earth literally... ...and I am not shoveling clouds saying this because I'm fully aware of the malignant narcissists among us but you know what? They would simply be left alone (the no contact rule would simply be applied) and have but no choice either: a) to remain alone; b) to regroup between themselves on a specific territory; c) take a deep breath, look in the mirror and simply change. If a narcissist (male or female) would really and truly commit to change, I would apply that we all forget his/her past, including themselves forgetting their past of course. I stopped dealing in gratitude many years ago once I realized the power of Appreciation. Once I did that much has become much deeper and greater. I sense my Soul answering all my questions daily, moment by moment. That didn't happen with gratitude.

I love that you understand J Krishnamurti. It takes a lot of intelligence and also persistence to understand J but he has said a few things that blew my mind for real. He helped me in one sentence more than ten years of study and experience sometimes. I also like that you put him with Deepak. People speak badly of Deepak. They are crazy. Deepak meets people where they are which is noble. He is also a brilliant thinker and a rock solid speaker who always shows up prepared and with respect for his audiences. Namaste, fellow traveller.
