      This is going to be an unpopular hunch, but that's what it is, just a hunch. I think shitting on the Queen's favorite was a big mistake.
      It was a photo, one that couldn't be authenticated, of Andrew and some girl. Can you imagine that happening to you? A photo doesn't prove anything. But you British subjects were foaming at the phukking mouth over it, waaaaay too eager to eat one of your own--one that happened to be the Queen's favorite child.
      I'm not saying he's innocent. That's not the point. The JOY that entire country seemed to have over the entire incident showed the Queen exactly what her subjects thought of her, her family...so she handed the keys right over to the WEF. Say what you will of the royal family, but I have a feeling she stood in between the WEF and her Country. Wasn't it shortly after that entire fiasco that the illegals began to hemorrhage onto your shores?
      Again: I'd LOVE to be wrong, I have been an Anglophile since I could speak and have been over there more times than I can count...it is a beautiful country, so rich with history and architecture that blows my mind, my heart is breaking over wtf has been going on over there. I just cannot shake the feeling that the Queen washed her hands of all of you over that utter VITRIOL. One photo of clothed people cost HOW much...?? TOO much, and without it even going to trial, ffs. Unbelievable.

      The *farm* is worth over a million, but that's like saying your house is worth whatever it is. You can't live on the value of something which cannot be sold without losing your livelihood. If farmers are faced with inheritance tax, it simply means that they/their families will have to sell the farm and get out of farming. So the farm will be taken over, either by some farming company or to build houses.
      Ever thought of 'food security', long term? We cannot feed ourselves in the UK as it is.
      I think your comment is ill-considered and based on ignorance and possibly envy.

    • @ianisnew
      @ianisnew 2 дня назад +9

      Exemption for as long as it used for farming is reasonable I think. But the IHT is payable if the inheritee sells it off within 10 years or it's converted to non farming use. Land is priced according to it's value on the commercial market. Building and selling/renting houses/industrial estates is always going to be easier and more profitable than small scale farming, but we can do without new build lego houses, we can't do without farming. Farmland should be bought and sold as farmland outside of the commercial land market. Really if we had an actual government instead of WEF stooges, then we could maybe bring in measures to actively help and promote small scale farming rather than helping Bill Gates buy it all and make us eat crickets.
