One of the ways I know that, despite the shit everywhere, there must be a God, is because He keeps sending us amazing, awe inspiring singers and poets and musicians--like Shannon McNally here. Someone I'd never heard of til now. What an incredible voice, what a beautiful song, and the lads in the band--perfect.
Shannon McNally is such a lovely person and a great musician. There is something in her voice that just goes deep into my soul.
Great little song here.....fine guitar work and McNally is a charm.
This song devours a person in enchantment and seduction. The music is so alive, yet simple. I have heard other versions, but this is my favorite....

Shannon is the bomb.......
Saw her for the first time on Sun Studio Sessions, yesterday 3/8/13 - has a cool dignity, great lyrics and voice. Just great to know of her as it always great to discover somebody new.
Would like to recommend her to my little kid; who lives in Brooklyn and amazingly despite her sound, Shannon's from Long Island - but she's Country (not his thing) and usually not mine, tho' I do like Emmy Lou and some others.
An incredible voice and first rank songwriting, great performance.Too bad I can't get a CD with this song on it in Germany. She does'nt need much of a band behind her, she's perfect just by herself. However the guitarist is doing a good job here.
i prefer this live version of bohemian to her album version on Coldwater.
