I’m a silent watcher but I just had to say that I really think that John would love watching one of the videos that show off the love and appreciation that bts and their staff have for each other. I think the relationship bts has with their staff really shows their humanity and kindness.

Suga was b-boying (street dancer?) when he was in school and apparently was a good dancer, before he had his accident and hurt his shoulder so badly. He was working as a delivery boy on his bike, trying to earn money before they debuted as his family was poorly off. Now that Hybe paid for his surgery a few years back he's able to dance without pain. He's actually very good!
Oh wow. I didn’t realize Suga danced before BTS. In many interviews he said he signed with BigHit because they said he wouldn’t have to dance and how he hated to dance.
slight correction about the whole "young forever" thing, I was on the stan twitter so I'm pretty sure I know how it planned out. I believe it was French armys' plan to sing "forever young" to BTS as a surprise. it's not a secret that "young forever" is such a special song to BTS, they themselves mentioned it at some point, so that's why French armys choose this particular song for this surprise event. a lot of armys think that this is an amazing idea, like just imagine a whole crowd of english speaking people singing their song back to them in full korean, their native language.
so the plan spread so fast on twitter, and it got so big to the point the staff members heard about it. then at one point the staff reached out to us and asked us to send them emails regarding the whole plan so they could help us out. of course we were so excited about it, like we're actually getting help for this. we also tried to notify armys who don't have twitter about this plan through weverse in private mode, so none of the BTS members can see the plan. in a hindsight this is kinda funny because armys were so loud about this plan on twitter, but we also kinda tried to keep it a secret lmao. anyway, this is the staff's answer to armys plan. they gave instruction through the big screen and write out the lyrics in english so everyone can sing along easily. so yeah the armys who went to Wembley stadium at that time, they know they will do this. and no, this is not the staff's plan, but they helped us a lot to bring this plan into reality.

1. Young Forever has a very special place in BTS hearts. 2. Can you imagine the fact it that it was thousands of Westerners/foreigners singing an important song to you, IN YOUR LANGUAGE. A language they don't normally speak and doing it well.
There were dozens of trainees considered while forming BTS. They weren't looking for specific talents, per se, but what combination formed the best synergy.

I was at both Wembley Stadium Concert. I live in England The forever singing was an ARMY project in coordination with their production. The 2 shows were sold out in 10 minutes. It was supposed to be just one show.

27:52 RM IQ was 148 for like the longest time until he retested during exams week (I think) or previous recorded problematic man episode, I realized I mixed up his english test core with his last updated IQ, Im not sure what RM’s IQ is now. I will have to go back and recap on that episode.

Think they're up to 850 awards now. They just received 7 awards and a Platinum Award at MAMA 2022 for having won all 4 grand prizes 3 years in a row, and Suga got 2 awards for That That with PSY and J-Hope got 2 awards plus an incredible live stage with Arson, More and Future. They've won almost twice as many grand prizes as any other group, and have won Artist at the Year at MAMA for 7 years in a row. J-Hope had to get up and down and give award speeches so many times!

You asked about bias I don't really have one but I had a discussion with my church friends about who we'd love to invite to dinner. I shouted Kim Namjoon and they all looked at me like I'd lost the plot. I had to explain I wanted to sit and just listen to his beautiful speaking voice and have a chance to pick his amazing brain. Next thing I know we are all crowd around my friends phone listening to him giving his UN speech.
That part where RM says "there's no replacement for Jungkook" always makes me cry...JK is amazing and hard working. Thanks for introducing Chris to BTS 💜😰
I'm loving this series!!! I can totally see Chris falling in love with our boys. And definitely, show him both the MMA 2019 and Hobipalooza performances! Watching their live stages is how I fell in love with them, way more than watching content and just listening to their music...
One thing about namjoon being a great leader is, he pushed and encouraged the guys to help each other in better up themselves. There is one ex-trainee who trained with them said even during their early days of training where each of them would be evaluated by their progress, namjoon prohibited them to compete against each other, but instead find ways to be better each time together. That's why their teamwork and relationships are over the top. Furthermore, namjoon also is responsible for their album concept direction in terms of concept and musicality.
Adam Lambert took 2nd place in his season of American Idol. He went on to be asked by the remaining members of Queen to front for them on tour. Your bias isn't necessarily the member you relate to the most, but the one that pulls your attention... you can also have more than one bias or just stay OT7 if you can't choose. Jimin holds my heart, but I'm wrecked on the daily by the other 6. :)

@@JohnReavesLive It really was! I'm actually a metal fan ever since I was young and got into K-pop in 2016 because of these guys. I have been to many concerts of many different genres of bands over the years and as much as I love every concert I've been to, BTS was the best I've ever been to. The experience was incredible. Even being 39, I didn't feel out of place there at all. So many different people in the audience! I was very lucky to of seen BTS just that 1 time in my life. I hope all army's get to see them one day.

Long time listener, first time caller (😝). Your conversation had me pondering bias selection. Maybe we don't always pick our biases based on how they resemble us personally but because they resemble the bright lights already in our lives. If Chris has many personality traits similar to Jin then it is not really a surprise that John would gravitate towards and feel a subconscious connection to Jin in the first place. Great reaction as aways! Love the channel.
In one of their concerts .... In the song TRUTH UNTOLD V lost his voice during his verse because he was sick and the ARMY sang his verse for him.... there is a video of it :)
From what I read in 2019.....BTS has won awards in over 115 countries.

I think it needs to be said that MMA 2020 tends to get overshadowed. Yes 2019 was amazballs but to give such a stellar performance a year later WITHOUT an audience but still keep the viewer as engaged as if they were there, that's incredibly difficult to pull off and is just mind-blowing to see. You may remember only a handful of performers were really able to do that. Unrelated but James Bay also did a really amazing job for his fans during the pandemic. He's another example of artists making the best of that situation.

BTS did a daesang sweep in both MMA and MAMA in 2019. They did it again for MAMA in 2020 and 2021, hence the Platinum MAMA in 2022.
BTS now have 70 daesang (plus the Platinum MAMA), collected from various award shows (13 MMAs and 20 MAMAs).

I am a 78 year old ARMY who was at that Wembley concert. The “surprise” was known to many fans as the wording was shown on the Internet so we could learn to pronounce it correctly. I’d never been to a concert of any kind but it was a spectacular night. BTS are a life saver. Diane

The things about Army is we are not perfect. No one perfect. But we always try to spread positivity like what BTS always does.
Sometimes it's make me sad like literally cry my eyes out when people only judge us from the negative side. I mean there are thousands, millions Armys, we can't control everyone but the Armys i know are great people, we are the strongest fandom. I'm proud to be part of this fandom, just sometimes the negative comments make me sad. If its from other fandom i can ignore that, because i know most of them are come from jealousy, but then there is some people who no nothing about Bts Army and already judging us.

You saw the actor, Lee Byung-hun when Jimin and Ha Sungwoon were singing their OST for the series, ‘Our Blues’. I didn’t take to that series. Watch the series he’s in called, ‘Mr Sunshine’ which is really good. You also saw V’s friend, Choi Woo-shik in the series, ‘Our Beloved Summer’ when V was singing the OST for that. Of course you have to watch V in, ‘Hwarang’. We’re always hoping he will return to acting. V is now part of the friendship group, The Wooga Squad, which started from him meeting Park Seo-Joon and Park Hyun-Sik on Hwarang. V is the maknae in that group which also includes actor Choi Woo-shik and rapper Peakboy. I think he enjoys being made a fuss of by his hyungs.
Each member of BTS is so irreplaceable in the team. Each is important and each is talented in their own way. I love them and are waiting for them from the army

For those who think that RM learned to speak english at school. Sorry but RM himself explained long time ago how he learned to speak english using the Friends series. He will watch the episode once in Korean, then watch it again with english subtitles and then without the subtitles until he knew the dialogue by heart. Don't forget that he has a QI of a genius. Also foreigners people don't speak a language because they study it at school. If it was true then all Korean will be able to speak english and American and British will speak french or spanish and so on. Borahe
He learned English with school, like the basis as any other student but he LEARNED the structure, pronunciation, and way to speak with the show friends.

Hi, I am back. Good reaction, ty. I am rewatching ur live. I missed some of the beginning. So thrilled u introducing Chris to BTS! =0) But Bang PD is no longer CEO of the agency he is now one of the chairman. U sharing the wrong info with ur boy, lol. Bang PD used to work for YG i think. That is one of the big 3. He did not like what he saw and wanted to make his own agency. He did and changed the rules. He had other groups and solo artist before BTS. BTS is his idea. When he found RM he decided this will be a hip hop group and RM will be the star. Bang PD and staff are really great at finding potential in kids. None of them could sing. Most of them could not rap. Many could not dance. They learned it all. Jimin only trained 6 months. With many nights of no sleep. He was almost cut 8 times. Hobi left the group and the guys begged him to come back so he did. It was wild. So much stress. RM changed the group so all of these guys are talented i want to show them off too. That's why i think the agency changed them into an idol group. BTS made the agency so huge Bang PD could not be in control. It was a lot for him. There is a new CEO now. Plus Big Hit is now under HYBE which is the big 4 in Korea. TXT debuted in 2019. They trained for years. BTS debuted 2013. BTS made the company what it is that's why they hold shares in it. Each member is a millionaire. BTS members are filthy rich yet still work their assess off because Korea is so bloody competitive. If u don't put in effort u lose all u have. Bang PD is an amazing producer. All songs he has worked on are number 1 hits. He stepped down as CEO so he could focus more on music. But he also comes up with the TV competition shows were we meet other groups like Enhypen and &Team. He is very forward thinker. BTS learned a lot from him. Anyway, Bang PD father of Big Hit founder and now former CEO. Chairman on the board. Music producer. 😅 I am glad Chris is willing to come back. It's less overwhelming when u have a guide. Hugs. The blow minding thing is that in every concert before BTS start the concert and ARMY are already in the arenas there is a Playlist(videos) of BTS'S songs (or not) and Army singing them from the start to the end so when bts are getting ready they actually can hear the crowd singing perfectly their songs and that's another vibe!!!!
JK entered the dorm at 13, two or three months before he turned 14. He was a trainee from the summer of 2011 until his debuted the summer of 2013.

From what i know so far of the kpop industry, their auditions are more like talent recruitment. That's why they get "accused" of "maufacturing" idols. because you come in talented in whatever, go through a training period where you practice singing, rapping, dancing etc before you eventually (if you make it through all the screening processes) debut in a group. There were other BTS/ Bighit trainees at the time the boys were there too. The BTS we know and love now were the ones that were eventually chosen for the group. That's why they keep saying it's destiny, because literally anything could have happened.

I am with you” life goes on” hit me during pandemic. We were driving on the back road to visit the grand kids that we have not seen for awhile & this song was played in the radio’ no idea who this boy band ,no interest in Korean K-pop @all & the rest is history. I am 68 years old grandma & I went to see them perform in Vegas.will see them again in a heart beat. Plan to visit Korea just to see their humble beginning❤️❤️❤️Thank you for having an open mind.
Suga and RM were both underground rappers. RM was actually really well known and Suga had even heard of him before meeting him(RM)

This is the first vid on this channel I’ve watched, but I love it already. I just wanted to say how much I relate to chris in the not wanting to do stuff if you don’t know about it. Tbh i got into bts through piecing together many out of order youtube videos thats slowly built up my knowledge. I really love watching people learn about bts cause it reminds me in one video, all the things I love about BTS and also find awesome people like Chris and John :)
Also just to add to this, I am currently at the inexperienced stage of life, like I haven’t gone through many trials like they mentioned, and I think bts is preparing me for that, like I know i will have them when I need in the future

I have been ARMY since 2015 and alot of the reasons you mentioned are why I fell down the rabbit hole. I also feel like a proud mom of our boys! They have come so far from where they were. I will have to watch this in segments but I will def be here more! 💜💜💜💜💜
In addition to what you already know about the Grammys using BTS is they've collected BTS' belongings (like BTS' actual wardrops used in MVs, performances and 7 microphones) to their Grammy Auctions for last 3 years in a row. And guess what? BTS' stuffs were sold the most expensive over all those other famous artists' belongings in all those 3 years. One year, J-Hope accidently put his 2 rings that he wore during the concert in his wardrop pocket and they found them from the wordrop that was donated and put those 2 rings on that year's auction as well. The Grammys uses BTS for tv ratings and auction $ but don't want to give out any awards.
Only wanting to sneek in for a short time before sleep, but ended up watching the whole show 💜 well.. its full moon, cant sleep anyways 😂. It was very entertaining, thx for Chris joining you 😁

The Olympic things is something they do in Asia for instance Thailand do it with TV companies so actors who are signed a TV company will go up against actors signed to other TV companies. The company with the biggest team I think would be GMM TV.
