The Bullet Proof animation is a trip through their history. They reference many of their songs throughout the years and it really hits home. They appreciate their fans to no end and that’s what drew me to them. After each performance they speak to ARMY as individuals from their ♥️s and it just shows how humble they remain. They have every right to have big heads with what they have been through on their journey to the top, but humble is what they have remained.
That MV always makes me tear up. They remain so humble, and they love and appreciate ARMY so much.
Jin being my ultimate bias, I love when people ackowledge his immense talent. Reactors tend to pay less attention to Jin at first and they end up shocked when we really get to hear his vocals. Jin is not just a funny guy.

There’s an interview out there of Jungkook talking about his inspiration behind writing Magic Shop. This is what he said: “When ARMY are tired, emotionally exhausted and having a rough time they can draw a door within their hearts and come inside... and we're there.” He was also one of the producers on it.
We Are Bulletproof The Eternal is the one that made me cry when they performed it live in LA. It is absolutely beautiful & I love everyone’s voices on it.

BTS writes the most beautiful love/support songs to ARMY. BTS and ARMY are mutual fans of each other and I have never seen that before from any band I've been a fan of. "Stan a band that stans you back" 🥰
This is why I say that Butter and Dynamite are good songs, but their deep lyric songs are simply INCREDIBLE! BTS had to step their game down to appease the Western radio stations. Sure 🧈 and 🧨 captured many new ARMY but hopefully they don’t expect songs like those two only. Simply put, they had to venture away from their true selves to be Grammy nominated. I hope that when they finally win a Grammy, it’s for work like songs true to their hearts that are lyrically brilliant works of art.

I don't agree with this.... Coz just because a song has a direct meaning doens't mean it's a bad song..... BTS did those for every army and gp to cheer up in the midst of pandemic.... So it doesn't need to have 10 layer deeper meaning..... Many people got comfort and became ARMY after hearing dynamite.... It helped many people to fight depression atp. And they weren't even hoping for Grammys, they gonna get the break after mots tour but pandemic happened and they released this song to cheer up people.... Grammy nomination comes along with it... I'm so so tired to hear people say that BTS only released to get western validation and all that.... If so, then why didn't they release yet to come in English too????

But they are not songs that have the deeper meaning that BTS are used to when the boys have a more deep involvement in the the writing, composing and producing. It’s not completely fair to them to win such a big award if songs that are not what they mostly identify with, or ones that they weren’t so involved with because of the language barrier.

Watching one of the live recordings of Magic Shop is one of the things that made me realize that BTS is so incredibly sincere. It's not just the overall message - it's that JK wrote a song where they ask their audience to sing a promise. And that "I'll show you" is a promise to love themselves out loud.
It's a call and response I am completely certain has changed lives. To hear them saying "I believe you can do as much for yourself as you've done for me" is already beautiful. But then to be challenged to show them that you can believe in your own unique galaxy?
I'm in my 40s, have never been to a BTS concert, and I still think, sometimes, that I want to believe in myself because of them. It's a profound gift, this song, an actual tool for healing and growth.

33:07 During the PTD concerts, Jin had dressed up several times for ARMY (well mostly just head-dresses and hats) He even put RJ of BT21 (his beloved "son") on the last day if I'm not mistaken, and a headband with ARMY written in big letters. So this one in this video was a flower ahahaha! Jin has done so many things to make ARMY laugh, that sometimes he get already gets ashamed of himself given his age. But he still does them to make us all happy 😅💜

Jin always does these funny events during concerts. In their previous concerts, he made paper hearts and hide it in conspicuous places to surprise army, he also did funny sunglasses, and for the PTD concerts he did funny and cute hairstyles. So that is a flower and a ribbon in Jin’s head 🤣
Ah man, I miss the paper heart event days. There is a complation I can across of all the heart reveals. I specially love the ones he managed to hide on other memebers. And Yoongi always with his "super acting" overreactions are classic of that time. And their Special stage Anpanman heart performance will always be lengenday
During the series of Permission to Dance concerts, towards the end of the concert, Jin wore something cute on his head. He did something different for every performance. That particular night was a white rose.
I love Magic Shop, but WAB: Eternal, hits even harder, to me. It's like a big hug when Magic Shop is a pat on the back. WAB: Eternal was released in February of 2020 on the Map of the Soul: 7 album. 2020 was the 7th year since BTS debuted. They released the video in June, as part of Festa, when the Pandemic was at one of the worst points. The entire world was in lockdown and had been for a while at that point and people were feeling hopeless and helpless. BTS released the MV and it's full of Easter Eggs. The animated Suga holds his left shoulder, the one that was damaged when he was a trainee and that he finally had surgery for later that same year. RM falls into the water and is drowning until the lights of ARMY first appear. They guide him up to the surface. J-Hope is locked in a box. Jungkook is hit by a black tidal wave. There is a thing in K-pop called the black ocean, where a group gets on stage to perform and everyone in the audience turns off their light sticks. Instead of a sea of stars like BTS usually sees at a concert nowadays, they are faced with pitch blackness. That happened to BTS twice. The whale is from Whalien 52. When the whale drops them off on the pillar, they are standing in a circle, like when they perform Born Singer. They were all crying while J-Hope held a trophy, a reference to their 2018 acceptance speech where they admitted that they had almost broken up earlier that year and all of them cried on stage. And that's just a few of the Easter Eggs.
I really, really hope that Meg has Louder Than Bombs on the schedule. It goes along with these two songs. Magic Shop is older and acknowledges both what ARMY means to BTS and what BTS means to ARMY. We Are Bulletproof: Eternal is a much more recent song, acknowledging how much ARMY means to BTS. Louder Than Bombs is the other side of the coin. I don't want to spoil it for you, so that's all I'll say about it. It's just as good as WaB: Eternal, though. It's one song that ARMY has never heard them perform and, when asked on Weverse what song ARMY would most like to see them perform on stage, Louder Than Bombs had the most votes.
Also, the first time ARMY saw BTS perform WaB: Eternal was for an online concert, Map of the Soul On:e ARMY couldn't be there in person, but Big Hit set up about 800 monitors and had ARMY live streaming on those monitors during the concert. It wasn't perfect but, for the first time since the pandemic started, BTS could see and hear ARMY. We were separated by a screen but they could still see and hear us. Poor Jimin hadn't realized until almost the end of the concert that ARMY was actually live the whole time. When he found out, he ended up crying. BTS sang WaB: Eternal as the last song of the night and ARMY sang the "Oh Oh Oh" to them as they walked off stage and back to where they were when the concert started. The whole thing was very emotional and I highly recommend watching that concert if you get a chance. Sorry for the long post, but I didn't want to leave anything out.
I agree that Louder than Bombs ican be paird up here, And 2!3!( hopeing for better things and i promise to be here truthfully and endure the hard time moving forward and together) after LTB(I see this as them in a vulneralble state, almost as every step at that time was a struggle, and simple thank you to army andits their promise to army that s keeping them going). I almost feel as it is kinda the prequel to Magic Shop(Sure of who they are thanks to ARMY and passing the love given to them mrroring it back as self love). I also Believe Telepathy is kinda and endcapfor this as well, putting everythign aside and just enjoying the ride(BTW, I love how we all reference this as Suga's love letter for ARMY and its jus tthos small moments that ate the important and best)

I was at Sofi Stadium for this performance of We Are Bulletproof: The Eternal. It was the one song I really really wanted to hear at the first performance with army after the pandemic started. It was so touching live, so beautiful. You could feel how much they were feeling the lyrics, we were feeling the lyrics. A memory to last a lifetime.
Dr. James Doty wrote the book “Into the Magic Shop” which is the basis for the song Magic Shop ;) great book, highly recommend!! 💜

Magic Shop is Jungkook's baby. He wrote this song inspired by one of the speeches of RM. JK has stated on numerous occasions that
is heavily inspired by Namjoon since he does the bulk of writing for BTS. His writing is so beautiful, it's honestly my fav. He is a poet who paints a pretty picture with metaphors inspired from nature n there is heavy Wordplay too. That's how you can recognise his lyricism. And it's not everyone's cup of tea to break down or grasp the multi layered meaning behind his words. No wonder he is nicknamed "The Philosopher who Raps".💜
WAB:Eternal was written by RM. I feel like since you love BTS's lyricism so much you should know the main guy behind it. The way that guy weaves together words intricately is pure Art. The fact that he is inspired heavily by the visual Art world n wants to pursue the timelessness of it is very evident from his lyrics. He wants to create a legacy that lasts long after his time here is done. And it shows through his lyrics.
Suga is the main producer( has the most producing credits) , amongst BTS members, RM is the main lyricist( has the most song writing credits, 197 I believe) n J-Hope is the dance leader( guides them through the choreography n performance). If we had to categorise, that would be how it is. Ofcourse by now we know they all do everything n are freaking great at it !!

And i also talked about WABE, not just Magic Shop. Furthermore, when discussing BTS lyricism, the rapline is at the core of it, irrespective of whether you like it or not.

You can hear Jungkook so much in the background vocals. I have to say I have a bias because I love them all, but it I had to have one it would be JK. I am so happy hearing you give so much credit to Jin. I don’t think he gets recognized as much as he should. He has a beautiful voice. At times I used to have a problem at times telling him and JK apart.

No, they’ve NEVER said that. They wouldn’t compare one of their members to another like that because they know it’s hurtful and not productive for the group. And to be fair, the triple high note was a one time event and it’s not something Jin can do regularly or in a consistent basis; in fact, I don’t believe he’s ever been heard to do that since; so stop trying to elevate one member over another! It’s not ‘Army-like’ behaviour and it provokes other Army who are NOT Jin biased.

I have never cried during songs, never.. and I am 54 years old. Until I discovered BTS a year ago. Their songs touch me so much..sometimes just hearing their voice makes my eyes water..I love those men
And the emotions aren't just sad. Happy emotion, Happy tears because of the lyrics. The love they give us in each song. Loving tears. Knowing what they had to overcome to get where they are now!! And still ongoing! Proud tears. Empathy tears.

Army in the crowd for Magic Shop always reply back to BTS. They say “so show me” and we always say back “I’ll show you” in that sense. The song is “If you feel like you’re standing on the edge of a cliff or don’t even feel comfortable being yourself, find a door in your heart that will take you to the Magic Shop. You’ll find 7 boys waiting there for you do they can listen.” Jungkook says that he won’t say to stay strong but that they’ll comfort you with a story. Believe it or not, Jungkook was one of the writers for Magic Shop.
WAB: TE is BTS’s song of appreciation towards Army. It’s them being grateful to army for walking with them on this journey. The festa cartoon you watched it considered the mv for the song. It actually has many references to other mv’s (at least over 10). It was fun for army to dissect similar to Yet to Come.
I was there that day for we are bulletproof! I remember these group of people in front of me crying to this song when BTS sang it. Seeing them break is what broke me, actually during Jimin’s high note. It was the first time it was sung live in front of army so we were pretty shocked and emotional

To your answer at 14:02 ….listen to Your Eyes Tell. That’s your answer sir. THEY ALL can reach those incredibly high notes. Jk has a more versatile vocal range. He does almost all the backing vocals, harmonies, and Ab Libs. Our HOBI can sing as well. Each of the members have their own strengths they bring to the group. They are simply phenomenal. Both these songs are so incredible. JK wrote Magic Shop with RM’s help. WABP is literally an anthem song by now. It is so incredibly beautifully well written and performed by them all. It never fells to hit you, but to hear them sing it live…NO DRY eye in the place.

I have never encountered another band so in love with their fans. No other group has written songs for their fans, that I know of. These were both love letters to ARMY, and they give so many of us support and strength. As they say, stan a band who stans you back. BTS are an amazing group of young men, honestly quality individuals on top of their many talents. I'm so glad I've come to know/know of them.

At the Permission to Dance concert in LA last November/December Jin did something weird with his hair after their last costume change, and it was different each of the four nights. Like, I know that this performance is the night that I was there because he’s got his hair tied up in a high ponytail with a red ribbon and a flower growing out of it (in Korea the saying “go put a flower in your hair” means that you have gone crazy). But I saw fancams from other nights and Jin had pig tails one night and wore RJ (his alpaca stuffy) as a hat another night. Jin likes to be silly and make other people laugh.
My daughter's favorite song is "We Are Bulletproof: The Eternal" and I always get emotional hearing the lines that basically ask why we are still standing with them, like what did they do to deserve us, it's so humble and powerful. Their vocals and the overall meaning are next level.

In the LA concerts Jin did fun things at the end of each concert. This was at SOFI stadium in LA. Their first concert after the pandemic. It was very emotionally charged. I can not listen to WAB:TE with crying a river of tears. I’m 62…the first time I heard it I was bawling. I was recovering from a live saving surgery, even though I had tickets to that concert that I had to sell, so watched it online. I was crying during that performance and my husband came in the living room and asked me what was wrong, I couldn’t even speak.
I have seen in my life time some of the biggest stars in the world live in concert. From Michael, Elton to Tears for Fears and the Rolljng Stones and Bowie(he was insanely good all three times I was privileged to see him) but I have NEVER been witness or felt the love affair between a group and their fans and the group being so appreciative of their fans they write songs for them. I have been privileged to meet BTS and see them perform live 5 times. Each of their concerts average close to 3 hours. Again, nobody else I had ever seen in the past had concerts that lasted that long. They give their everything in their concerts. The Busan concert was amazing. And all in their mid to late 20’s still performing at the level they did 10 years ago, is incredible. I call them athletes who sing while running, which they do in work outs. They sing on treadmills for breath control.
Welcome to the BTS rabbit hole. It is one journey of wonderment, emotions and amazement. The brilliance, talent and humor of these 7 men is addictive. (I miss them already). I highly recommend that you go to Weverse Shop and spend a few bucks to purchase the viewing rights to Magic Shop:The concert from their 5th Festa, it has a whole story written into their Magic shop. They also have numerous concerts you can get the viewing rights too along with some of their series that were online only. They also used to have a weekly show called Run BTS, 30 minutes of pure laughter and comedy. There is so much content from these guys, you are only on the tip,of the ice berg.
I'm crying again. Both these songs show the bond that BTS and ARMY have together, I love them and I know they love us.
Wow this is a big emotional double whammy. Two such special songs written for Army and both are both emotional and make me feel so touched. I agree that in any genre you don’t find especially the top artists consistently putting out songs like this with such a needed positive message. These are the songs that have helped people get through their darkest times. They show so much love between the guys and Army it’s hard to explain. Jin had a whole thing where he’s been dressing up silly during the Army Time end of shows (what ,ugh they be encore time to others at the end of shows they leave and come back dressed casual in jeans and tee shirts and spend time talking to Army like friends for about 15 mins and do bonus songs like this, in a tour they often don’t do repeat Army time songs so it can vary a lot show to show no choreography just them casual)…. Anyhow back to Jin he started doing things a year back like wearing hair in pigtails, he wore silly hats, various things to make Army laugh. Here he has his BT21cartoon character RJ (his “son” he does always take on tour) strapped to his head. Jin had a whole tour with paper hearts. Every show he’d hide a paper heart and dramatically reveal it every show. They got ridiculously creative and ridiculous every show. No help from staff all Jin.
When BTS writes a love letter this is what we get. This how they show us love.
Someone has already explained why Jin had a rose on his head. At the end of another concert in LA he had an RJ on his head. He likes to give us a laugh. Poor guy says he’s running out of ideas of what to wear next.
I’m so pleased that you reacted to Magic Shop and Bullet Proof: The Eternal together because they are both for ARMY to help us and themselves through the hard times. You have to watch the Magic Shop skit which is part of the Magic Shop 5th Muster. I don’t think you’ll be able to show it here because I’ve never seen it in full on RUclips. I bought it from the Weverse shop. The whole Muster is brilliant but the skit is funny and touching. It isn’t expensive and it is so worth it and it has subtitles. When they sing Magic Shop in concert and they do the call and response it brings them and us to tears. I get particularly touched by the, ‘We were only seven, but we have you all now’ line in WAB:E. I’m a baby ARMY so I thank all those who have rallied around BTS through the hard times. Thanks, John.

Magic Shop is the reason I became ARMY in 2018! And I got to see it live at the LY tour stop in Ft Worth!! It was amazing and is still my fave BTS song (and that's saying alot since it's like picking your favorite kid and I have 5 lol)

I was waiting for this reaction, two of my favorite BTS songs.
Both of these songs are my happy place. As well as 2!3. But when I'm at my lowest, I go back to Magic Shop and even after a heavy cry, it is such a comfort to hear their words and by the end, I always smile! I love how you immediately go into the reaction, no fluff. The Magic Shop is actually a psychology term about creating a safe place in your mind to go back to. They are SO smart about their songs. If you'll notice, the galaxy is a huge theme in BTS, because we all make up this really beautiful, worldwide galaxy. Not to mention, just look at all those ARMY Bomb lights and tell me it isn't like a sea of stars. 😭😭

As for Yoongi's singing in We Are Bulletproof: The Eternal, I love his lower register. He does something similar in Daechwita, and it's beautiful. His lower register is so soothing - I always think "He could sing me to sleep anytime". Mind you, I think the same thing about Tae. And Jin, in his lower register. And Jimin.💜
And Namjoon's singing voice is soothing. And Hobi's more relaxed singing is so relaxing. And Jungkook just giving on his VLives can be so chill and easy.

I too am a JIN bias. Now I understand why you shouted his name while watching the Daechwita reaction. I just wish he had more lines to sing but so glad he has his solos to highlight that amazing voice.

I love these two songs so much, although they definitely make me tear up.
In the live performance of WAB: The Eternal, Jin was wearing a flower on his head. He came out every concert night at this point with something different/cute on his head. He knew we'd be wanting to sob hearing these songs live, especially since we hadn't seen them in so long due to the pandemic, so he was cute/silly to keep ARMY smiling. I was at the first 2 L.A. concerts and I was on the verge of crying right before Jin showed up on screen and then I started laughing. (He's my bias, too!)
Magic shop was another song along with bulletproof eternal that was written for army.. Jin just for Army will let the styl8st do strange things with his hair just to make armys happy even if it is embarrassing. The l9ve these guys have for us is off the charts
I've gotta say I listen to Map of the Soul: 7 (the album that We Are Bulletproof: The Eternal is on) a lot differently now. Knowing that after their planned world tour in 2020 they were supposed to take their break back then, but delayed it because they didn't want to abandon ARMY during the pandemic so they kept putting out music and performing online concerts even when they were completely worn out mentally and physically.
I just want to say that Jin actually has a similar register to Jimin and even has a higher recorded note hitting a G-5 LIVE in their song Crystal Snow. He and Jimin often go back and forth arguing that the other has a higher register and they struggle to keep up (jokingly). But they both sing in women's registers predominantly. I think the difference is for Jimin it's his head voice and Jin uses his falsetto or belt up there. I'm just putting that out there because your "they're holding their own with Jimin on those high notes" made me think that maybe you didn't know that half the high notes you hear in the back of songs are Jin's. I'm not just saying that in Jin's defense. It's just an actual fact--Jin and Jimin are both our high note kings. Check out Answer: Love Myself live next. You'll see what I mean. :) I know you're just learning so no worries--just wanted to let you know.
Jin has a really wide range from the very low notes he sings in Dionysus to the incredibly high notes of Crystal Snow.

My daughter thought the high notes were all Jimin Until I showed her otherwise.
In the words of Jk “Jimin has yet to reveal the full potential of his vocals”. And I’ll also add that until just recently (since their hiatus), Jimin never had formal vocal training, unlike Jin and the others; I’ll never understand why that was the case - seems really unfair quite frankly!
He and Jin have completely different tones and approaches to these high notes - Jin belts (like a rock star) and Jimin is soft; he lives in that high range (his sound is angelic); and for the record, Jimin is not in head voice every time he sings in high register; any decent vocal coach will tell you he is often singing in mixed voice. One is not better or higher than the other - they’re not comparable. And to those who keep pointing out Jin is now the ‘winner of the highest note’ (putting it bluntly), to be fair, Jin hit the triple high note once during Crystal Snow; it was a one time thing and not something he can do consistently.
I personally don’t like this attitude or suggestion - whether passively or intentional - that Jin’s vocals have surpassed Jimin’s or that he’s ‘taken over’ Jimin’s role as “the King of high notes’, (as I’ve so often read) in the group because that’s simply inaccurate.
Jimin has had enough of comparisons, criticism and shaming about his voice AND his body over the years and he doesn’t deserve to, once again, go through the comparison game and be made to feel inferior, when that couldn’t be further from the truth. These kinds of comments and comparisons need to stop! It’s not characteristic of a ‘true Army’ - like it or not, those who engage in these games of comparison or ‘one is better than the other’, are NOT true Army. Elevating one over another or pitting one member against another, in any kind of way, is hurtful and damaging to the members. It needs to stop.

Jin wears silly things on his head/in his hair, things like plushies and bows, at the end of concerts. It's his thing. About the We Are Bulletproof: The Eternal, like someone else said, they reference other songs - I wanted to add that the visuals from every scene in the animated MV are from MV's or performances - and that you've seen a lot of the videos. If you watch it again knowing that, you'll probably recognize them! Thanks for another great video!!!
