Puck feel is night and day between the Proto and Nexus with the Proto having the 2N Pro shaft with a stiff blade vs the 5 sided shaft with a soft blade
Videos aren't filmed in a single shoot. We test for awhile before we review. Tommy is also always being forced (by me lol) to try new skates for future reviews and feedback. But his personal number 1 skate is the XF Pro.
I’ve got a tracer now broke the first one in 3 weeks mostly was my fault usually used a 77 flex but I didn’t cut it down from the 62 inches. Using a 87 flex now that I cut down to an 85 flex it feels really good. I also switched to a p88 curve as a D I like it good stick just praying this one doesn’t break again. I also got a sync as my backup but haven’t gotten to test it out yet.
since no one else answers, I've had a question for you guys, could you compare the tracer to the lower end sticks like the E50 pro and E40 that are a lot more affordable, and explain what the difference between a Tracer and E50 pro, and if it's honestly worth it as a JV hockey player to get the tracer that's 100$ more compared to the E50 pro? If so why?
Would have been nice to do a side by side tech comparison because, and you can correct me if I'm wrong; the only real difference is taking the rubber layer in the blade core of the sync and running up the shaft of the tracer. If its lighter all the means is that they removed some paint or carbon fiber layer(s)
@@jake13b yes I decided to go down in flex as the trigger 9 is stiffer and bc the tracer was so Whippy as why I got a 65 to start with. So I went from a 65 to a 55 as it fits my hight better So I got a 55 flex trigger 9 pro
Hearing stories about people's expensive sticks breaking is always such a bummer. I'm lucky my Warrior AX2's are still somehow going strong now about...7 years later? I'm sure they don't have the pop they once did, but I doubt my D-League shot's really using much of that pop anyway. I'll happily replace them once they break, but even the 70 flex I've got is still going strong.
Love my sync, hate my proto R. Looking forward to trying the Tracer.

What makes you hate your proto I was considering picking one up ?
@@ivankikuichimonji28 which stick do you prefer for stickhandling proto or Tracer?
Sherwood Code Encrypt next please!!
FT7 Pro or Nexus Tracer ??
“These things will never change” was wearing true skates in the shooting clips 😂

Any word on the durability? Checking back after the video said you’d report back on it.
Proto v Tracer, cause im wondering if the shot velocity decreases from the 5 sides v 4 sides. I am using a proto currently
This video was shot last week. Maybe the video you’re requesting was filmed this week 🤷🏾♂️🫣😄
@@HockeyTutorialOfficial i will keep that in mind ;)
How is the stickhandling/feel with the tracer? Is it the same as the CCM Ghost? It was not mentioned in the current video. Thanks

what is ur curve for the tracer?
Been using a blacked out 87 flex p92m sync for awhile now and its goated
Question I have the proto r, the toe and stick itself are giving out, is the tracer better in those aspects or areas ?
I always go one price point below and the e5 i really like. Cant wait to try the new one
Thank you very much you helped me a lot
Never played a Syn, but heard good things of the Sync 😉😇
Missed the “c” uploaded this at like 1am. I’m spent !
I’m curious where does Bauer say they’re the leaders? I just checked their website and can’t find anything.
It was their tag line. "Industry leaders". All over everything. it's still on their instagram "A leader and innovator in the hockey industry"
i’ve got a proto now, thinking a new one soon. Qr6 pro vs tracer?
On it 🔥
Got a tracer and it broke in 6 day btw I’m 14 5,4 and using a 65 flex L Bauer but then got a trigger 9 pro and happier with that
The tracer looks so nice and a good stick but durability is pretty inconsistent so only nock back
wondering if you use the same flex in your trigger 9 as the tracer ? i find the trigger a little more stiff than the tracer.

love my tracer so much, I used my sync for a few weeks back when it released and i never really liked it, might have been the weight.
How long have you had it? How’s durability been?
@@mikenethery2978 about a month, held up pretty well tbh, better than many of my ag5nts did lol
I love when they say a Bauer stick is good because I use Bauer so if they say it’s good you know it’s good
What was the curve you used for the Tracer?
P28 always
@@HockeyTutorialOfficialThank ya very much, and thanks for the quick response! Keep up the great work!
Skipping the tracer since I already have a sync. Waiting for the Twitch. My sons coach got one early cuz he’s sponsored by Bauer and it’s SICK
It's a hybrid but does it have a soft or stiff blade?
@@ivankikuichimonji28 no clue I didn’t use it. He said he actually preferred the tracer but I already have a sync.
Let the man speak
The Sync has the durability of a piece of uncooked spaghetti. 3 broken sticks was enough.
I broke 2 tracers in 1 week. Its just as bad.
Glen Trail
Got the twitch coming out soon benders
Syn? That a new manufacturer or something lmao
Yes. Yes it is.
