- Meet Whimselina. She came to me as a tiny, helpless orphan with her eyes still closed. She was found by a tourist who didn’t know what to do and had to leave and reached out in a community group where someone recommended me, knowing I've nursed squirrels before, and so began our journey together. It’s incredible to watch such a tiny creature grow stronger each day. Every feeding, every snuggle, every moment filled with so much hope, love but also fear because of how fragile babies are. It meant weeks of interrupted sleep but so so worth it to now see her running and jumping and strong! Time will tell whether she will be suitable for release or make herself home with me.

My husband brought an orphan squirrel and I’m in love. I think I kiss and hold her more than she sleeps in her hideout. Still has her eyes closed 🥰🙏🏻

Where can you get a scale like that? We got a fairly too nig one from amazon. We have had our orphan now going into week 6 ours is about 8 weeks age, We were lucky to get some rubber nipples also from amazon. Great video sister! Love the parrot room dang!
I think we bought it in some shady tobacco store, so probably intended to weigh other things haha. Ah yes I got the nipples too, but didnt find out about them until she basically didnt need anymore. Such a good find though! Will be glad to have them if another one comes along. Thanks so much for watching
