I’m a Ford/Mercury and Datsun/Nissan fan. But those Olds like this are fantastic. If I didn’t have my money tied up in building a new house, I’d come get it.
Nice ride Nick!! Way Back in '02, I bought a car very much like this one: it was a VERY CLEAN 39K low mileage '88 Cutlass Supreme Classic Brougham. Basically, it was the luxury version of the 442, the same car but with the velour loose pillow bench seat luxury interior, vinyl top and all the woodgrain and chrome trim... It even had factory "top of the fender" driver/passenger turn signal indicator lights, much like the Cadillacs and upscale full size Buicks and Olds cars used to have....Had the same 307 Olds 4bbl motor, the original CHROME Olds rally II rims, dual exhaust, power EVERYTHING, A/C and all options and trim, except for no sunroof/or T-Tops. The '87s and /'88s also had the same cool "Euro" style front grille/headlights/ sloped nose just like the '87 Cutlass/442 did. It was a column shift, but it even had a factory Tach!! It was beautiful Alpine white, with white landau roof and light tan/saddle interior. It was just luxury, beautiful, smooth, comfortable and pretty peppy to drive. I was the second owner of it.I kept it for 10 years tucked in the garage most of time, and only put 3K miles on those10 years. I only sold it because I bought the '69 Skylark GS 350 that I have now, and also because my old house only had a single car garage!!😢 I f I could swing it, I'd love to come down there and scoop it up right quick!!!. I miss those '80s GM "G- body cars, (1981-1987 Cutlass, Regal, Monte Carlo and Grand Prix) ...they always reminded me of the'64-'72 A -body cars ( Chevelle, Skylark,GTO, and Grand Prix)...You won't be sitting on this one for very long!!! Thanks again Nick, just wanted to share those memories with you, the Crew and the Fans!!! 😅
Those GM g body cars 81-87 (88 for Monte Carlos) are some good looking and handling cars. Base 3.8l, 6 cyl, 2bbl were anemic, 250ci 4bbl motors gave them reasonable power (considering the standards at the time), V8's were also strong enough to move them at a decent clip.
Still not going to remove those T-Tops to check for rust 😄, you forgot to check to see if that switch was for those lights under the bumper. Great video Nick.
Nick hope you know why Olds and Pontiac was discontinued after these cars where made, for they sold more in China under the name of Buick in the day, For now we know why they sell so fast because of the years of yesterday for the great name that they are and still are today. For they had many inter venations of the car world today and may they live in the car world today. Nice 86 Olds a long the way.
Really nice looking car… if I owned it I would stroke that 307, rebuild the tranny with a shift kit added and make sure the rear end was strong enough and drop it back in. Keep everything original and get the added power we all want. Had an 83 with a built 1970 455 in it and it screamed 😁
I think that one has a mild cam mod in it and that's why it's idled up a little? That's the last factory NASCAR! I have been watching a long time and I subscribed when you test drove that pretty little beast of a yellow drop top convertible Mustang. I gotta say, That car gave me a woody! Before I could count my money it was sold!
Pretty nice for what it is, just needs some love. We used to call them "stoner cars" because the stoners always seemed to be in Monte Carlos, these Oldsmobiles and even the Buick Regals.
@@donnellharrell2957in 2018 sure, you’d be right on point but this is 2024 and Bidenomics has been in full force for nearly 4 years now so $8k is now $18k whether we like it or not unfortunately.
Even for 8k it doesn't have good bones. G-body cars have issues and this one is showing a few. The T-tops will always leak, dash will crack, who knows the miles when odo rolls over at 100k
That’s a great looking car! It sounds like it has one of those flex fans. I think that blue switch by the stereo head unit might be for the fog lights. Looks like it shows nice 👍🏼😎
Amazing video, you work for 40yrs to have $1M in your retirement, meanwhile some people are putting just $10K into trading from just few months ago and now they are multimillionaires
Hello, I am very interested. As you know, there are tons of investments out there and without solid knowledge, I can't decide what is best. Can you explain further how you invest and earn?
Same, I operate a wide- range of Investments with help from My Financial Adviser. My advice is to get a professional who will help you, plan and enhance your management skills. For the record, working with Ann Marie strunk, has been an amazing experience.
I'm favoured, $90K every week! I can now give back to the locals in my community and also support God's work and the church. God bless America,, all thanks to Ms Ann Marie strunk😊
These cars will outrun an 85 iroc HO v8 Camaro on twisty mountain back roads any day of the week. Float down the interstate at 75 like riding on a cloud.
Not a fan of the dealer painting their logo on a car. Or any dealer for that matter. Why Do u put your logo on classic cars? If I buy that car your taking it off.

Love the sound of it. Maybe the green switch is for the fog lights?
I would bet that it would be hard to find a set of factory correct wheels for it. But in my opinion, that's the only thing it needs.

Had an 82 olds with 455 … 400 trans loved that car wish i never let it go.. good ol days lol

Real nice 442 my favorite of the G bodies being a Oldsmobile Man, I'd like to add this to my collection
But please put on the original wheels.
These 80’s cars are soo popular know! The new classics. They’re only going up in value too.
My favorite car from 69 to 88 is a Olds Cutlass Supreme, just a beautiful design 😊
T tops gotta be kinda rare, I haven't seen very many on a G body. Well I got take that back I forgot Buicks were known for T tops.
That’s a nice one, the original factory olds rally wheels would complete this car.
I think that one has a mild cam mod in it and that's why it's idled up a little? That's the last factory NASCAR!

Pretty cool it has a Olds engine in it!
You have some really nice classics down there Mr. Nick. Enjoy the test drives & lot walks.
Thanks 👍
I love your videos; I wish more dealers did these. Keep up the good work.

Wow. If I had $18k expendable cash, I would be there right now.
8,000 not 18,000 lil ruff looking

Agreed... They aren't horrible, but not my style.

I really like the factory wheels but these are very nice too similar and modern 👍
Ive seen 307 in a Cutlass with 250kmi just keep changing the oil
I don't know guys I'm kinda liking the wheels, fits that year of car pretty well.
Dash mat put a dye test on AC find leak recharge and you would be golden!
That looks AMAZING
Loved how these g bodies ride. So smooth.
I luv these cars
I had a 85' Buick Regal that had a swapped 307. She was fast
Not gonna lie I actually really like it. I can see me driving that.
Sweet 442
My first car was a 85 cutlass.
The 307 olds engine was a different block from the 307 chevy engine
Nice cutlass clean
Thanks 👍
