    Maybe it's just because I play one, but I think Robben made his sweetest music on that Fender Esprit.

    I watched this on TV back in the day the BBC Used to televise the jazz festival, in the same programme robben played alongside George Benson and they played On Broadway

    He didn't write the lyrics , I thought it was a Mose Allison song but it seems its a Duke Ellington composition with lyrics written by Don George.

    Sorry ! you are right , Robben added those lyrics - all the others who did the song - Mose Allsion , Ellla Fitzgerald etc didn't sing about selling their Muddy and Howlin Wolf records !.

      They are descending sequence of 13th or 13th add9 chords going to 9th chords. I think it goes B13 to Eb9 then A13 to C#9 then G13 to B9 then Bb9 resolving to C#13. That C#13 has root on the 5th string , so its like a C#9 but adding the first string , 6th fret note with your little finger to make it a 13th chord.

    His vocals are so off om this, it's a shame, you can actually see he's not happy about it.
