After a decent test ride of this bike, I immediately bought one. Logic would tell you that it's a novelty, a bike to use on special occasions, perhaps more show than go but for me its anything but. Sure it looks cool but riding it is epic. The adage of, "don't judge a book by its cover" rings true for the Breakout. Not sure what wizardry was used by the Harley engineers and frankly I don't care. It works and it works in a ways you might not expect. It's surprisingly easy bike to get on with. Best selling Harley-Davidson in Australia. We love them here 😍
Trying to buy one of these currently from the Auctions in Aus, thanks for this video. Probably the most helpful video out there on the breakouts, cheers for the great content
These have had huge success here in Australia much like the Vrod. I really want one of these but the problem is the misses wont enjoy that back seat if she wants to come with me for a ride.
You will be lucky mate the antipodeans threw out imperial back in the seventies. I knew one Ozie back then who just used to call miles klicks , which use to really confuse people that had not twigged he was a moron.
Hey, probably not bad feedback cause I'm looking to build the channel a bit more now and it will give the videos more worldwide appeal. I need to think of the best way to do this and cover as many bases as I can without it being confusing, thanks for your nice comment, Alex
@@TheClassicMotorcycleChannel Wow, I just checked your subscriber numbers ... the channel has really grown over the last year +- Impressive! Good for you!
I’ve never wanted to wash a bike as much as watching your great review ….
Ha, yeah, it’s filthy eh!
I had no idea that’s what all those letters stand for!🤯
Neither did I Freddie, had to look 'em up!

Sound Kiwi bro🇳🇿.
Nah, Aussie but live in the UK :)
@TheClassicMotorcycleChannel Twang not strong not from Queensland or N.T🤣.
Does it come in rainbow colors?
Why exhaust sound so quiet ? :/ i dont feel hd soul :/
Am I imagining things or did it show a big puddle of oil under the oil cooler?
Nah, that was mud from the ride, the bike was filthy and the track up there had mud all over it
Ouch! You took the city motorbike on a dirt road?😮
By the way you cover that clutch lever, let me guess, you rode a lot of 2-strokes. I'm the same and never kicked the habit.
Yeah, can't kick it, always need to be ready :)
If you would, for us yanks, give the torque rating in lbs/ft along with the NM. Give us a comparison. Love the channel.

Your phone surely has a calculator, try using it. The formula is NM x 0.737562 = lbs/ft

I always get a kick out of the Europeans giving torque in Newton-Meters and power in Horsepower. You'd think it would be in watts.
Sorry but that's not for me i don't like Harley's 😮
@@gordonsuddery4635 don’t watch it then 🤙🏍😂
No one cares bro 😂
