    Bought this in Baja Orange last year, put over 8k miles on it, including a ride from Montreal Canada to Milwaukee for HD's 120th. The last 7 years, I owned a Fat Boy, a Road Glide Special and a Road King Special. And guess what? This is the best ride, by far! I'm 6 ft tall, 170 lbs. Riding position is perfect for me. Thanks for the review!

      What bars did you go with? I'm buying a 2024 Breakout soon and want to change handlebars. Do you know how tall the stock hamdlebar risers are on the Breakout cuz I can't tell if they are a 4, 5 or 6 inch rise? I like those fused lo bars Harley offers for it which are like mini apes but they are 10 inch rise and I don't want too tall, I want a total rise of 12-13 inches on my bars so depending on the stock risers height idk which size bars I need yet.

    Just took one on a demo. I am 6’3 and 280, felt comfy. Feet forward arms reached out. Clam shell but not extreme. Maybe my next bike. It makes you feel something…like in your soul. You can get to 75mph very easily. 4th gear is wear the magic starts and really shows the motors strength. I feel in love with her right off. Cornering was smoother and easier than I thought. Still may need to plan your tight turns but you get the hang of her quickly. If you like your gauges this may not be the bike for you. Fists forward and don’t give a care attitude is what this baby is all about! I will say nice job Harley on this ride 😎

    In my 2nd month with my 24 Breakout. I’m also 5’8” 160 lbs. Best cruiser I’ve owned. All I have done is changed the pipes to TAB Performance slip ons with the Zombie baffles, LED turn signals/brake lights, and a flush mount gas cap. I may not come into corners as hot as I did with my previous bike (Street Glide Special) but this Brakeout fits my needs. That 117 and my riding position are perfect.

    Thanks for your review. If you don't mind my asking, what is your inseam and your weight? I only ask because I'm 5'7" with 29" inseam at 150 lbs and I wonder how much what you say would apply to me. (P.S. I wondered about the possibility of somehow adding a little pad on the seat where it rises to the pillion seat, to bring me forward a couple of inches. The pre 2018 Low Rider had this as stock).

    • @IronBornRider
      @IronBornRider  7 месяцев назад

      I have about 29 inch inseam as well and my legs were stretched out lol. I’m about 185 lbs. I would definitely change out the seat and handlebars if I were to get a breakout.

    • @bernardlesperance742
      @bernardlesperance742 7 месяцев назад +1

      @@IronBornRider Your weight would definitely help you tame these two beast into corners, slow maneuvers, etc. And to be honest, I much prefer the pre-2018 (twin cam) Fat Boy looks-wise and would go for a used one instead.

      I took a test ride on one these 2 weekends ago. I'm 5'7" as well. I loved it. Cornering wasn't bad. My SG doesn't have forward controls so that took a little gettin use to. Basically finding them. Other than that I loved it. It's definitely a bar hopping bike though as they say. Not sure about long rides

    • @69sound81
      @69sound81 3 месяца назад

      Get the bike man. I'm about the same as you (lightweight, 5ft 7.5" and about 30" inseam) my arms have a long reach though and I really dont feel like I need to get forward at all. A friend of mine has a 2014 cvo breakout and he lets me take it for a ride every now and then. That thing is absolutely amazing. And, If you really feel too stretched out you can always change the seat and the handlebars to get more comfortable. The bike is worth its weight in gold (okay, not so much, but you get the point). I have a Scout cuz I can't afford a breakout for now and god knows I want the breakout

    I have a 2018 114 and coming in at 6’2” I had to swap the drag bars for 14” 2”-thick mini apes, I did 2017 black turbine wheels, 2-1 basani pipe and the 5 gallon tank from the new model, LOVE IT. Being 6'3" I could not stand mid-controls on the Low Rider S. Felt way too cramped. Breakout, on the other hand, felt awesome with its forward controls.
