Love my anacacho orchid tree, I wish I saw more of them around Austin. I had never heard of the goldenball leadtree, it's awsome and I'm pretty sure it's already got a spot in my yard!
I always wonder from where to buy these unique plants and trees. They are not found in local stores or online.
You can easily grow bauhinia trees (bauhinia mexicana USDA Zone 8 and bauhinia lunaroides USDA Zone 7) and leucaena retusa USDA Zone 7 (goldenball tree) from seeds. I found my seeds on eBay but there are other vendors you can buy from.
I would love to plant a Lord Byron Viburnum but can't track one down! Any advice on where to find one around San Antonio?!
