This is the winning format we’ve been waiting for since Tom Spencer left. Have a nursery person bring their plants and the host ask useful questions (soil, light, water, native or non, sun/shade) to help us out. Great job, keep it up and Happiest of Birthdays to you NG.

The Mystic Spires Blue Salvia (Texas Superstar plant) has been a wonderful pollinator attractant, particularly for the small bees, the bumblebees, and the various butterflies. On December 6, 2023, we had a huge number of Monarch butterflies in this Salvia, where people walking the neighborhood were stopping and taking videos (they're planted a few feet from the sidewalk). Just today, I counted as many as five Monarchs at one time in this bed, so I think we're seeing the start of the migration to the north. Fun to watch!
