Love this nursery in Fredericksburg. They have wonderful plants and very knowledgeable people to help make selections.
Lacey Oaks are one of my favorite trees. Lovely color in the spring. I’ve fenced my young ones to prevent deer damage.
Wow. Great list. Many I’ve never heard of.
Great video!
Thank you for watching!
I planted a Lacey Oak 3 gallon 20+ years ago. It is a beautiful tree, fabulous leaf color (lime green as the leaves come back in) with a thick canopy.
It sounds just lovely!
It would be so helpful if you could mention the hardiness zones.
Well, our hardiness zone is 8-9. I can't speak for other zones, but if there are plants you like I'd check them against your zone.
Yup ive always wondered why they sell them in the spring
Lacey oak 30’ x 30’; rough leaf dogwood; chitalpa; possumhaw; Eve’s Necklace; Flame Leaf Sumac; Bee plant; Goldenball Lead tree
Will these trees do well in North Texas zone 8a/b?
Yes!
@@CentralTexasGardener thank you!
