These are one of the last of Ferrari that you can service yourself, timing belt is simple to change without the removing the engine. And everything is still analog without the use of expensive computer diagnostic. Love it!
Thanks for listening to feedback and making this video. Worth the wait. You raise some excellent points, glad to know my 1989 GTS ticks all your boxes. Cheers
I own a 1989 328 GTS. The convex wheels were introduced because of the changes to the suspension to introduce the "anti-dive suspension" It is possible to buy an anti-dive suspension / convex wheels car that does NOT have ABS I *believe* that both changes were introduced at the same time in the USA However in the UK the upgraded suspension was introduce with convex wheels and the ABS was an OPTION!!!! Later ABS became a standard feature. So it's possible to buy a convex wheels / anti-dive suspension car which does not have ABS!!!!
Would have been interesting to hear how often the cam belts need attention or what items to look for. It really goes without saying that fewer owners, lower milage and a better quality shop + meticulous maintenance saves money.... but what should one look out for with this era of Ferrari ??? i.e. if x; y & z hasn't been done in the past e.g. 3 or 5 years then that's a bill to expect to see.
Do you own a '92 NSX? I know Merlin had a really nice one for sale maybe a year or two ago that I really wanted but didn't have the funds...I'll finally be ready to buy one in a few months, I can't wait!
My god i would have a stroke if i was in that room, thats what heaven would be for me when i died, lol ,328, one of my all time favorite Ferrari's,i know its not a F40 or it doesn't have a Colombo V12 or this and all that, lol but its iconic and no, nothing to do with the Mustache man either, its just a beautiful car, thank you for this video.
Same here, but c'mon...."nothing to do with that moustache man?" We used to watch that series/guy only to see him driving that pretty 328 gts, or not ?
Very informative. Thanks for the video. I’m considering adding a 328 or 308 to my stable and came upon this video. BTW I recognized Adam Merlin from an episode of caffeine and octane. Nice surprise! Keep up the great work with this well produced video. Cheers
Very impressive video ! I'm just sorry you did not mention the GTS/GTB turbo... Which are 2 Liters turbo charged and were produced at 828 and 308 units between 1986 and 1989.
Great interview and always a pleasure to see a 328. just a small remark; the convex rims were introduced just after the ABS, it was not because of the ABS, but it was to standardize with the rims of the Mondial t, thus there is well a beginning of series between 88 and 89 with concave rims and with ABS.
I have a 19 88 GTS 328 that runs beautiful and I wouldn't trade it in for any other vehicle it's the same color as the one that's on the set orange color red color whatever it is it's beautiful color I love the color it's a testarossa I believe the GPS 328 GTS 328
I am sure a great shop...but, in the video...it can be summed up...buy a good car. Besides production and abs, devoid of info on buying a 328. To anyone who this video is useful, probably should not buy one.

You're welcome! Glad you found it helpful.
No truer words concerning Ferraris have ever been spoken! Well done, you know Ferraris.
Great and easy breakdown of the most important points, looking at a 328 right now
these are running at the 130,000 range for the 87 yr.

Very informational - the presenter is certainly a very profound at vehicle build and tech
Enjoyed the vedio always one of my favorite the 328,but got hooked on the nsx a 1992

I think the Turbos where only available in Italy
328 GTB, very rare. Less than 100 of them in the US, only around 1 or 2 for sale at any given time.
Hope they all come back home to Europe 😊

Do you mind making a buyers guide for the mondial series?
Mentions climate but not rust. Serious trouble if it's been on wet roads where salt is applied.
Great video!

In 1984 we imported a 1977 308 GTB FROM Holland to Arizona, chopped it up and made us a GT 2 race car. Shore was fun! Wonder where it is now?
Hope back in Europe!
I love my 328!
Not a single comment that the owner needs to be "up" on Injectors and their maintenance or that Amazon has new injectors for only $30?
The best Ferrari car collection in the world I hope to work with you in cleaning and polishing you are wonderful to success for you
Good job on the editing
Thank you, Sutton!
355 spider folks !!! 😍🇮🇹👍
The convex wheels spoil the look of the car IMO. But today I learned that ABS is why they switched to convex wheels.
02:00, (Entry Price, Pedigree and Maintenance). 😉
Rad Racer, anyone?
I thought it's still intro, but then video ended.
Collect all Ferrari and Jaguar auto parts
Basically no information other than „go to a specialized overpriced Ferrari workshop to have your oil changed“ 🤦🏻
1.58 308 really?
🙂
You can keep the 328. 308 or bust!
308/328 are beautiful to look at but i would rather buy a newer car with power 205 hp to 300 hp is a joke today
Until you drive one--you won't understand
@@RootBeerGMT i owned one 5 years
Seems you don't understand!
buyers guide ? all you did was repeat that a cheap car isnt a good car ...thanks six minutes of my life i wont get back
