Indonesian gun laws and budget limitations (that factor's also true for productions from other countries, just watch a few Asylum flicks) often call for the use of airsoft guns, so CGI's the only way to to create "realistically" operating firearms.
During the car chase in The Raid 2, one of the stuntmen actually breaks off the stock of his cheap airsoft pump-action shotgun, and they left that in the movie (hard to see, gotta slow it down).

That girl you wondered why couldn't hit anyone in short distance was actually (played as) the hammer girl in The Raid 2, she's good at hammering not shooting....lol
haha, ok :D from a film makers perspective its just weird to let someone be the person who kills him through a gunshot, but then when you see her again, she misses every shot :D

ahhh, thats the same Guys... ok. I liked him way more in Raid 2 :)
Tbh.. I don't really like this one. It's.. okay... but I don't like it not because it's terrible but because it's almost similar with The Night Comes for Us.. even the casts and their characters. But TNCFU much more entertaining, from the storyline, Background music, actions, the cinematography.
im looking forward to The Night comes for us. What i like about Headshot, is that the actually got the Ending really right, with the Girl pulling him away from his certain Death. As a Filmmaker, i appreciate those small nots to earlier Story beats and they did a great job in that regard. Otherwise, its an ok movie.

Maybe if you watched TNCFU you will somehow feel like... Headshot is the "drafts" for TNCFU xD Lol. But..... that's just my opinion.

@@karinatanjung801 because Timo Tjahjanto the director at that time he didn't have the budget, The Night Comes For Us was planned in 2014 and they were about to work together with Gareth Evans as well, but because of things the project got stopped, and Mo Brothers (Timo and Kimo Stamboel) worked on another stuff instead like Killers, and Headshot that's more like "pilot project" where they made it with less budget to get more money to fund TNCFU
just like how they did with The Raid films, Berandal (the second one) was planned in the first place, they already made the fighting choreography and everything but they didn't have the budget for Berandal, and they made The Raid Redemption first
after Headshot there's finally an offer from Netflix and XYZ to working on TNCFU, also Iko was not in the movie plan in the first place but Netflix asked the director to include him
