This was the best game so far in week 2! Egonu and Antropova are too good to be on the bench. I wish they could be on court at the same time. We could see how much more effective Antropova was off the bench compared to the current outside hitters today. Queen Egonu has scored really high on VNL Fantasy ❤. Italy is still building/developing the team with new coaches, so I am not too sad about this loss. I look forward to a rematch. Congratulations to Brazil. Forza Italia! ❤🇮🇹🇧🇷

Congrats Brazil for the comeback but Italy 'gave away' the 4th set too easily. It's not the first time that that happened. Italy needs to make less mistakes and work with a mental coach to overcome these situations - if they haven't already (I've just seen a TikTok from Robinson-Cook where she showed team USA training board, they work a lot on mental skills through affirmations and validation, and I think it's so important). Brazil won as a team, Ana Cristina came back in the 5th set and the blocks of Thaisa and Carol worked so well. I think the VNL's final will be between Brazil and Poland. Hope this loss doesn't affect Italy too much because they will face China tomorrow.

Credo che la figura dello psicologo /metal coach sia presente nelle squadre nazionali da anni , poi non so il loro utilizzo effettivo.Del resto la federazione tiene agli allenatori dei corsi sul mental coach già da vent'anni a questa parte. Curioso che siano gli americani a dedicare alla cosa cosi tanto tempo visto che la mentalità del tenere duro e non mollare viene inculcata loro fin dalla culla .Se vai a vedere l'intervista di Plummer che c'è su youtube vedi che in famiglia ha padre e fratello che sono stati o erano giocatori professionisti e ogni giorno si sfidavano in qualche gara e la competizione era sempre altissima.Velasco riguardo al problema che sollevava qualcuno sulla mancanza di concentrazione di alcune squadre ha detto che molto spesso quella mancanza di concentrazione era dovuta più a problemi tecnici che altro .
la figura dello psicologo /mental coach è presente da anni nella squadre di vertice italiane , poi non so bene come venga usato e il tipo di intervento che fa nella squadra.Comunque fipav fa corsi sulla cosa da circa 20 anni.
Curioso che la nazione che allena in tutti gli sport il concetto di non arrendersi mai riservi comunque tanto tempo alla questione psicologica.
Plummer in una intervista ha detto che fin da piccola erano sempre presenti delle sfide con suo fratello e suo padre a, loro volta giocatori professionisti, e che la voglia di non perdere era una costante . Poi riguardo alla questione psicologica una volta Velasco ha detto che molti commentavano la scarsa concentrazione di alcune squadre quando invece molto spesso il problema era di carattere tecnico.

@@fabioarcuti Si in buona sostanza la conclusione è quella anche se a questi livelli anche la tenuta mentale può giocare la sua parte. Vuoi sapere come creare la tenuta mentale ? Una volta ho visto un allenamento della nazionale femminile con Velasco e nel 6 contro 6 Togut ha fatto un errore Velasco le ha subito ridato la palla altro errore a altra palla altro errore . A questo punto Velasco ha guardato Togut e le ha detto restiamo qui fino a quando o fai il gesto corretto o ti saltano le ginocchia .
Ovviamente non avrebbe portato all'estremo la cosa ma il messaggio era chiaro .
