Regarding how Draco is frequently linked with green apples, I can’t recall if there is anything in the books that inspires this, but definitely there is in the movies-the scene where he is eating the apple in the the tree comes to mind as well as the multiple scenes with him with the apple that he was using to test the cabinet. Obviously, fandom picked this up and ran wildfire with it. However, I just learned something really cool (was briefly mentioned in MosM)-the story of the constellation Draco is about a dragon that guarded a tree of golden apples . . .
Yes! I love the concept of fannon, and picking up on new things the more Dramione I read and discuss with other fans. It’s so comfy and cozy to see these details over and over, in new and creative ways.

This is one of my favorite videos of yours. Sometimes I wonder about things that always keep cropping up in fanfiction and I wonder where they came from or how it is that everyone seemed to agree that they are a thing. My sister says that’s called “fannon.” An example is Draco and green apples-he’s always associated in some significant way with green apples, either the scent or as a favorite candy that his mom sent him or pie/baked goods, or just the apples. What’s the deal with that? Would love to see a video along those lines. Also if you are going to do a follow up video to this one with more “details” a couple more ideas: a formal D & H dance, hermione wears green, patronuses (when they are revealed or change or what memory is used to trigger them), and also broom rides (since H is scared of them), also nightmares (when they discover that each other has them and/or attempt to comfort each other as a drawing together catalyst), also cooking without magic or teaching someone to cook. Opinion on that: Isolation would have been so much better to me if D would have attempted to teach himself to cook when he was so bored in the dorm. Challenge: I recommend Sugar and Spice by inlovewithforever-yes it’s a triad so not technically dramione, but really it is deeply truly dramione in every other sense. I mention because it shares many of the details you mentioned in this video plus it prominently features the apple thing

Regarding sugar and spice, I highly recommend it for you. It was my first triad story as well, and I was really nervous about it, too, but then was astounded at how sweet and tender and kind it was, I was completely smitten. I promise if you read it you will realize that although a triad, it is still very much dramione and if you haven’t read it yet you will have a sugar-and-spice shaped hole in your heart until you do!
