Same. Discovered them in 2013 right when New Demons dropped. I was in 7th grade. Here we are now. ISS has genuinely change music for me. They were the first band like this I got into. I found Blessthefall a couple weeks later.

YESS I NOTICED THAT TOO!!
No screams kinda ruins what made ISS specials imo. The dichotomy of brutal screams, shrill singing, and poppy synths js what made them special in my eyes.
I tolerated how little screams there were in LP5, but this is like when BMTH went full arena metal.
My first concert was DGD, ISS, and ASKING ALEXANDRIA. So I’m a real fan. Even bought physical copies of all the albums til LP5. I’m sad about this.
I see stars are back for sure. Not as heavy as what we're used to, but they are extremely talented with the vocals and instrumentals.
Am I the only one who is super happy that this band is back ?

I agree.. There should be 1 song, at least, that brings the hype like the tracks on New Demons. I know they are changing as artist, but i also know New Demons was the album that brought them a lot of their fan base. Those fans should be given a little love also, as a thank you. I love I See Stars current direction, but feel any Metal band that is evolving, should still have at least 1 track that is made for the OG fans, and never forget about them. unfortunately though it seems to be rarely the case

Treehouse was their best album. Zach held the band back. Now that they don’t feel like they have to meet the “metalcore” standards, they’ve been able to grow in ways they never would’ve. Love to see it

I miss Zach and the sound he brought to the band and the heavy music they used to play 😢 you could just feel it in your soul. The passion they had together in New Demons was the best music I've ever heard and I'd give anything to hear that sound again. That being said I enjoy the new stuff, but not nearly as much.

Ohh I'm sorry to hear that. I wish crowds cared more about the guest bands that play for them. I would listen to the opening bands' music after they've been announced so I could enjoy their performance and sing the songs.
I learned about I See Stars from Bad Omens and if I was at a US concert like I wished, I would've seen both bands and ERRA and that would've been awesome.
But instead I'll see Poppy but her music has grown on me, it's just different but I really like it.
I think everyone should try to listen to the opening artists/bands and give them a chance. It's just sad and kinda disrespectful to just stand there still, with an uninterested look on your face. These people perform for you 🥺
