I have been to both places, I had no problems finding vegan or vegetarian options.
Visit Khalsa Diwan Gurudwara Sahib (Sikh Temple) in Hong Kong which has langaar if you get stuck with food.

Hi Reema, we also planned for hongkong in march but somehow our PAR( pre arrival registration) was becoming unsuccessful as our passport was issued from Chandigarh. Hongkong government has blacklisted some cities. Do you know how to apply for PAR
