I'm planning on reading The Will of the Many soon, so it's exciting to hear that the sequel might be coming out next year! I don't like the Red Rising series (in the middle of reading Golden Son), but I'm thinking that Will of the Many is going to appeal to me more.

As another big Stephen King fan who rage quit after Dark Tower 7, I plan to reread the series this year and its peripheral books. I also need to reread IT, which I read when I was 12 (I'm 42 now) and I'm thinking I'll get a lot more out of it. Looking forward to your review of The Devils and Wind and Truth.

--Lightfall: Yep, I'm sold. *Tosses on the Mt TBR*
--I've been having a good time with Silverblood Promise, so I'm looking forward to The Blackfire Blade as well. I adore that cover!
    Thanks for sharing!

the premise for the new Richard Swan looks delightful. Time travel is one of my favorite tropes (the third rule is pretty much what you might think). Joe Hill finally has a new book coming out and R.F. Kuang has a new coming out in the summer dealing with the familiar people journeying to the Underworld to get somebody back. Ryan Cahill's book is supposed to be LONGER than WaR?!

Great List with a lot of authors I still need to start reading, so I'm not sure If I will come to any of those in 2025. But I'm also notoriously bad about sticking to the plan,so who knows what will happen. To be honest, I don't know too much about what will be published in 2025, but one book that is very high on my priority list is Robert Jackson Bennett with "A Drop of Corruption", part 2 in his Shadow of the Leviathan series. And if Anthony Ryan's 2nd part of the Age of Wrath series should be released in 2025, I'd probably stop reading whatever I am at the moment just to hurl myself on that one.
From your list, Richard Swan seems to be the most probable, though I have family members that like him as well, so it kinda depends on when/if there's a translation released in 2025. Then Ruocchio because that's on my already planned TBR for 25, though it mostly depends if I have read up on it till then.

I say this as a Grady Hendrix fan who wants you, and everyone, to read his books and be a fan too...I don't think you'll enjoy Witchcraft for wayward girls. I was lucky enough to get an ARC and I loved it. But it focuses mostly on the social commentary and with you being a man...well, let's say all the times I could relate to what was being said, you won't be able to. And I know with Southern Book Club you didn't love how the themes were too in your face at times and this is the same or even more. Which I love but...I just thought I would let you know. The book reminded me of the movie The Craft a lot. It's a lot more about the way the girls will get into magic to ran away from real life problems than about the witches themselves. Obviously, you read whatever you want 😂 but I thought I would let you know.

Starting the bound and broken and hearing that this new book is double war and ruin is kind of off putting not gonna lie. 400k words is way too big idc how good the book is.

Once they get that big in a series I just think of them as one continuous story, and the size of the books is irrelevant

@ there are many series that are continuous stories. Hence the reason for it. I’m just saying no book should be 400k words. That’s possibly a 2500 page book that’s fucking massive. War of ruin is huge now double that and hold that in your hand lol
