@@alffuergregor From what i can find, Lindt did start it in 1950 somewhere, and Hauswirth started with an similar looking bunny in 1960 somewhere. In early 2000 Lindt started legal stuff because they wanted an trademark. I think it did not pass since an bunny is too general with the shape. In 2021 Lidl was forced to destroy bunny's tho because they looked close to the Lindt ones

@@camarov8power319 I know this comment is seven months old but that lady was actually an old woman who was in the passenger seat when the coffee (which was heated at a temperature well-above regulation) accidentally spilled all over her legs, giving her third degree burns snd requiring her to receive skin graphs. The lawsuit was to cover hospital bills, but McDonalds’ lawyers twisted the story to make it seem like a dumb lady tried to sue them for making coffee. In reality dozens of people had previously reported injuries from McDonald’s coffee since it was far too hot and even one droplet falling onto your hand could give a serious burn. That “silly lawsuit” resulted in all McDonalds lowering the temperature and no further injuries were reported.
