    Thanks for reviewing this! I’ve been researching headphones for a few weeks.

    I bought a pair and received them today.
    The side where the bluetooth controls are sounds like there is something loose on the inside. It sounds like it is falling around when you use the headphones. Sound and controls works 100% tho.
    Is it normal or a defect on the one I got?

    Is it really better than Sony WH 1000XM4? I know I asked silly questions but I also think Sony can't beta presonus on sound monitoring

    Hello. Where you able to connect microphone with PC or any other device? I am having some problems with PS4 or PC.

    I haven't come across any Bose or Sony recording headphones that are even usable in that environment, because they color the sound. Not a criticism but recording headphones aren't supposed to sound good or bad. The accuracy of how they sound to the source is all that matters. You didn't speak to that. Are they good for reference or no? Thanks.

    Great video my man. Appreciate the thoughts. I noticed in an earlier video that you have (or had) a Presonus RC-500 Channel Strip. What do you think of it? I'm interested in getting one used but not sure how it really preforms.

    • @TheAudioCzar

      If you can get it for a couple hundred I'd say its worth it. The pre is clean. However mine seems to not have much headroom, the pre easily clips, which makes it un useable in the studio for me. I feel something is defective with mine as I'm sure this isn't normal operation for the unit. I contacted tech support and they seem to feel nothing is wrong so I gave up on trying to get it fixed. I bought it to use as a channel strip when doing my RUclips videos and its been perfect for that. Since I'm not hitting the pre with loud dynamic parts like singing or rapping I don't get distortion when using it for RUclips videos.
      The EQ section I really like. Compressor is ok to me, can take some time to dial in. I picked mine up off ebay for like $250-$300 and for what I got I'm happy with that price for it. I never reviewed it because 1. I felt it was defective, and 2. Presonus discontinued it.

      @@TheAudioCzar Thanks for the reply! That's interesting on the headroom and I did notice that they discontinued it. I am looking for a good mic pre / channel strip for tracking vocals. Any "affordable" options you'd recommend?

      Chameleon labs 7603. It's my favorite mic pre right now. I haven't used the black Lion eighteen but it looks promising. The F200 from fredenstein is worth a look to. Have been close to picking it up. Well under $1000 and it's 2 channel.

    i have a question. I have a studio filled with near mostly all Presonus geat. Eris Monitors, ATOM controller, Presonus Studio 1810c and AudioBox 44VSL also old Firepod 8 channel and ive had ever pair presonus made before the BT model. still using the i thinkn HD9. My question is, how do i make these headphones work with my studio? Like how do I get the audio out of my interface that I am using to go to the headphones?

    • @TheAudioCzar
      @TheAudioCzar  10 месяцев назад

      Do you mean how to make them work via Bluetooth with your studio?

    • @Skettalee
      @Skettalee 10 месяцев назад

      Yes, like how do I make my daw's output go to the bluetooth? I do have abluetooth antenna but thats not connected to my presonus audio interface. Thats what im confused about. I want to get them if there is some seamless thing and it just works thought! @@TheAudioCzar

    Like others have said, the sound should be flat. Recognizing this is an old video. I'm here because Presonus just dropped a sale add including these. I would think that someone with these has tried monitoring with them using a mobile audio app or DAW. I'm right surprised that headphones from a audio production/creation related company has zero reviews speaking to that type of application...

    Question do they have to be charged to use them with the wire?

    • @TheAudioCzar
      @TheAudioCzar  4 года назад +1

      I don't believe so, because I was testing them powering off using them wired. I'll have to test that

      When the batteries run out, you can still use them as regular headphones using the wire without the noise cancellation

    I hope this comment will be useful to someone. I don't have any complaints about the sound quality of these headphones, BUT this model has simply terrible coating. It's made of THIN leather that gets damaged from the slightest scratches. It's absolutely impractical if you plan to take them outside or to the gym. My headphones turned into a complete mess in terms of appearance in less than a month. I would recommend using them with extreme care and in white gloves. If I had read such a comment beforehand, I wouldn't have bought them.

    If they are for studio use also, the sound should be flat.
