nice video. You had a very calm day there right? I wonder, If you use it mounted on the arm does it get lifted out of the water all the time with bigger waves? Would this be a problem, as I read the it sounder and/or wireless only connects when in the water. That way, would you have a constant on/off scenario when you paddle or with waves? Or does it compensate for this and still work fine? Thanks
Cheers. That's a hard question because they are two completely different types of fish finder. With the Lowrance you can get a constant feed using an external battery dedicated to just the sonar and the screen is fixed to the kayak and is easier to see in the sun. On the other hand It's a lot heavier with batteries/cabling and isn't completely waterproof. The Deeper is light, waterproof, portable and can be used to get an idea of what is around you apposed to just what is underneath you. I think they would work well together and I haven't used the Deeper enough to pick one to be totally honest.
Well I used it for two days and the battery was still going. The Ipad and phone batteries are reduced because of the WIFI but I get around this by using a power bank.

I`ll do the same thing because it`s difficult to put the wire and battery on my inflatabale kayak. Thanks
Is that just a regular gx2? Or is it a tiger or a big water?

+The Yakler OK thank you for getting back to me

Im surprised they havn't made one to fit in the scupper hole/drain some how.
Great point . I may just rig up something using mine
what is the name of the mount you used for the deeper?
how long does the battery last?

I know I’m super late but i think the manual says charge every 2 months or so. So that basically means the battery life is insane on the ball
Alright mate I luv your videos awesome! you couldn't make a video on how to read a fish finder?
I'll see what I can do
I don't know since when catching a shark is fun
If I use Polarized glasses I cannot read any modern tablet or smartphone. :-)
Martin Szy then take them off and put them back on lol
